I was very concerned about ordering this due to a previous review about its incompatibility with the HD141x model. However I think the default may have been with his projector or they have since fixed the issue. It works fantastic with no syncing issues and all buttons function correctly. All buttons light up and it is bright and easy to use.

This works just like the original remote

I had issues with my DLP Optoma projector after a few years of use. The projector would turn off, but not on anymore. Threw in 2 AAA batteries and hit the on button on the remote and low and behold, the projector turned on. My 5 ft tall wife is even happier than I am as she can turn on the projector now without having to get a ladder or walk on the couch! Good replacement. I tried 2 other cheaper remotes first, but they didn't work, this one worked right out of the amazon packaging. You truly get what you pay for. Spend the $30 instead of lots of the $10 remotes that you only have to send back!

Our old remote’s buttons were not working. Took this out of the box and it worked immediately. So happy.

This remote was not compatible with my Optoma HD141X. Only the on/off buttons worked correctly. All other buttons either didn't work at all, or performed a mismatched function. For example, the keystone button actually controlled the aspect ratio, the up-arrow opened the menu, but arrow and select/enter buttons did nothing, and there were no other buttons that I could find that allowed navigation or select/enter through any of the menus. So even my discovery of the mislabeled menu and aspect ratio buttons was useless, as I couldn't do anything within either menu. All of this was to save me the headache of the power button working only intermittently on my original remote. After being unable to find an exact replacement of the original ANYWHERE online, I finally opted to open up the remote and fix it on my own by cleaning off the contacts with a little alcohol. Good as new!UPDATE: the seller sent me another remote, to see if the behavior was a fluke. However, the results were still the same. The buttons operated (or didn't) exactly like the first one did, in a way that rendered it unusable. I stand by my initial review - this remote, which appears identical to the replacement remote SP.8ZE01GC01 recommended by Optoma customer service, is NOT actually compatible with Optoma HD141X. This may, however, be a problem with the manufacturer's listed recommendation, and not the fault of the seller. Reminder: this is not a problem with my projector, as all of the buttons on my original remote work perfectly (it was only the over-used "on" button that was temporarily experiencing problems).

When I ordered this I wasn’t even sure if it would work with my projector because the model wasn’t listed, but I am happy to confirm this remote is compatible with the model HD146X right out of the package.

Used for the HD26. Everything works as it should.

It took a while to determine the correct control for my projector. After a few hours tracking down the projector model number selected this remote control as it indicated it was the correct model. Works right out of the box.
