I am a complete novice when it comes to using Office 365, and my main focus is on Word, for use with the Open University: having said that, so far the sections, while dense, are giving a foundation from which to start.My main complaint, and rather an important one, is that ALL the illustrations of computer screen displays are printed very faintly - making it hard to decipher the tabs etc. that are referred to in the text. You will not always be sitting in front of your computer when reading the book and it is a fault that could easily have been corrected.Otherwise so far so good!

This is an excellent book on office 365. Very well written. The author is a natural teacher. He knows how to teach. He is able to put himself in the shoes of the learner and is thrrefore able to teach. Office 365 which can be daunting for some but this books explains it so well. The author does not take for granted any prior knwledge and quite happily repeats the lesson or a point when it occurs in a different context.

I bought this book wanting to know about Office 365, in particular, how to install it, whether you just stick a disc in and watch it run, or whether you have to do something difficult, like download it. I began by reading the Introduction, as you do, and on p3 the writer lists 3 foolish assumptions. The second of these is "You own a copy of Office 365, the latest edition of Office, and you have installed it on your computer".This was indeed a foolish assumption!Useful information I gathered is that it is a compendium of abridged versions of 8 books, only three of which I would require. Subject to that, it is in the usual, readable and refreshingly humorous style of the 2010 series, and my intention is to get the dummies' guide to Word 365, Excel 365, and Outlook 365, if these exist in unabridged versions-after I've installed Office 365.

At a first glance of the book and the packaging it was sent in is very impressive. I only know the basic word of office 365 and looking at the chapters and subchapters there is elements that I did not know. I am looking forward to using this book. The packaging was brilliant with a lovely bookmark and thank you note. I will definitely buy from this seller again.

A great guide for people getting started with Office 365, plus good tips for OneFile and Teams. Great for reading from cover to cover or dipping in for specific information. A great index and good chapter structure makes it easy to find information.

I bought this for my son who needed a refresher course. He says it’s very informative but such a big book it will take him forever to go through it all. Otherwise ok.
