It's a fuel oil filter for my furnace. It helps my furnace keep running so that I stay warn. Replace about once a year. It does its job. Have bought multiple times. Keep a spare on the shelf.

This is exactly the same brand and model my furnace service tech uses. I always make sure I have an extra on hand now. If you need one, it will be mid-afternoon on the Sunday of a holiday weekend!

I purchased this filter as my old filter was starving my furnace of oil. My filter restriction gauge was in the red zone and my furnace was shutting down. As soon as I replaced the filter with this one, the gauge showed no restriction and the furnace is now operating as it should. It is a spin on filter like most cars and trucks so it is easily changed. I recommend placing a small container under the filter when removing the old one to catch any spills. I saved myself a service call...

Perfect match for what I needed, but being in a rural area, gated community, which UPS comes in and out all the time. Why are my orders always sent from USPS (after drop off by UPS) from which I have to go to the post office to pick up?????

This filter worked great and got us going again for a good price. Just wish Amazon would include cross-referenced part numbers from other manufacturers. I had to find this information from another website.
