Love it
I was so excited for this! And I had got a bad batch, I reached out to customer service and had to return my item, However they were extremely polite and fixed the entire problem and sent me a new set! Brenda was as sweet and polite as can be! I really appreciate the customer service and the fixed problem! This is an amazing product and I’m glad I got everything straightened out!

Very colorful -paint
These markers are very nice, high quality and super easy to use. Larger tip on one end and narrow detail tip on the other. They are technically paint markers, but if you are writing on glass objects you may need to seal; as it did wash off. My granddaughter actually got them on my laminate floor and it washed off easily.

Couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase unless they gave me a free pony with them.
I love love love these brush pens. I recently found relief in the art of adult coloring for the stress that accompanies being disabled and was buying Tombow brand's brush pens, but couldn't get many colors because of the price tag. I was starting to think that therapy would be cheaper lol. But then I go these and I have to say, we owe GenCraft a round of applause. They are amazing! They have so many colors! I have read a lot of reviews that say there are some colors that are repeated, but I found that the ones that look the same end up being slightly different once completely dry (not sure if the photo I included does it justice). I got some that were frayed a little, but they are quick to give you new ones if you message them; thats what I did and in a timely and friendly manner they responded and took care of my issue. Also, I actually found that these ones blended better than my Tombows, but my blending skills are in their infancy, so don't quote me on that. I'm actually about to start a return on this item because I am going to order the 100-pack. I originally did not like that the brush tip was softer than the Tombow brush pens I had but I found that you get used to it very quickly, there's just a learning cure like there is with everything. I think that both children and adults can get a lot out of these. The only thing I cannot comment on is how they hold up in the long run, but I'm glad that if I have any issues, I know the seller will help me with whatever it is. I can't wait to see what kinds of things I'll end up doing with these watercolor markers.Thank you!

There not like real water color paint
It’s important to know that these are not going to act like water color paint. They don’t act the same. Don’t get me wrong there great color goes on smooth it’s just if your new to water color painting these may not be the best place to start.

Great for kids of most ages
My 10 year old daughter got these as a Christmas gift, but my 17 year old daughter liked them just as much! They “paint” in vibrant colors without dripping. These are a very cool concept and work well. Also affordable which is always a plus.

Not a Good Substitute for Koi Brush Pens
Great value! But I wasn’t aware of the difference between brush pens that feature a true brush and ones that have a regular pen nib. The brush lettering class I’m taking suggested Sakura’s Koi Brush Pens. I thought these would be a more affordable alternative. However, Koi brushes have a regular, flexible pen bib whereas this set has a true brush tip like a paintbrush. That makes them much harder to use for brush lettering because there’s less control over the tip. Another downside is that there’s no way to tell which brush is which color. They’re not placed in the packaging in the order of the colors shown on the back of the box with the color names. So, you just have to kind of guess which one is which by trying to match it to the color pictured on the box which isn’t always easy. One other downside- even though there are many colors included, some of them are extremely close in color/shade and there aren’t as many of one type of color as there are others. For example, there aren’t as many yellow/orange colors as there are blue/green it seems. My husband is an artist and tried using these pens to create a portrait of a toddler at the beach that he was commissioned to paint. There isn’t any color in the set that matches the light color of the toddler’s skin. He tried mixing some colors together which didn’t work. Then he tried lightening them with more water but he needed so much water to accomplish this that it made the paper dissolve. And it was good quality paper. So, I don’t recommend this set for professionals or for learning brush lettering (I later purchased the Koi pens and prefer them by far for brush lettering. My husband used them to create a set of artist trading cards for a charity project he’s part of and they came out beautifully. The colors are much more vivid and vibrant compared to this set.)
