good start on Year 2
These are good books which gradually get harder each stage. The pictures are good and my daughter can easilyunderstand the words as they are repeated over and over.

My boy likes them, and often chooses them to read. They do have educational value, what you want and don't want children to do.

my son loves them
my son loves these books and doesn't regard them as the dreaded word book! or letter books. he engages with the characters and thinks they are proper stories
