Sturdy & Uncomplicated
I've bought two of these, one for my use & one for my daughter, but neither has been installed in a shower stall. Instead, mine is in the entry way of my apartment & my daughter installed hers in her mudroom. We use them to put on & remove our shoes. We installed my seat using anchors in the plaster and lath walls of my pre-WWII apartment. The installation--done over two years ago--took no more than 30 minutes from unpacking to sweeping up the dust, and the seat has been sturdy & safe the entire time. The big advantage is that it folds against the wall, out of the way. And it stays folded.

Life saver!
I got this for my mother who has very bad gait problems and has fallen in the bath. She feels so much safer having this in her tub. It is really light weight, and durable. The installation is easy, and it is not too bulky when folded away. Much safer than a portable shower seat

Gets the job done
We redid our bathroom and I wanted a spot to sit in the shower without adding a huge bench. This is nice because it allows you to fold up or down so it’s not always in the way. It’s very sturdy, I weight 145 pounds and I’ve had no problems. Easy to install.

Installed in Motorhome Shower
I have had knee replacement surgery and needed a seat even in our motorhome shower so we could travel. It looks great. I feel secure sitting on it and showering.

Don't use provided drywall anchors
i like the seat but don't recommend using the provided drywall anchors. Anchoring to drywall is not strong enough and they will pull out. Install a board that spans, and is screwed into, the wall studs. Then screw the mounting plate to the board. Make sure at least one of the top screws (preferably center one) is screwed into both the board and through to a wall stud.
