Love it! Cant go wrong if weight is a consideration!
I have a personal pontoon with a weight limit. When purchasing the needed fishing equipment that I need/want I wanted to keep weight at the forefront of my mind. My tackle, bait, lures, poles, anchor, and my butt weigh enough, I wanted to keep everything else as light as possible. This net is so very light I love it! I keep it attached to my boat and strapped out of the water, but I did add pool noodle to the top with a few zip ties to keep it afloat when I put it into the water. So far it has worked wonderfully and is larger than I had expected for as lightweight as it is. I have had a couple of 2-3 lb bass along with a handful or more panfish in it all at once and there was still plenty of room for more fish, though when carrying it out of the water I supported the bottom because it was awkward to carry as large as it is with that much weight in it, but just lifting it to support the bottom I realized that it was more than strong enough to hold that much weight which again impressed me for the weight. Apparently I had been expecting a poorer quality product since my main requirement was weight but this net is fantastic! I would love if they had the same net with a flotation on the top but my pool noodle works well, maybe as pretty as a built in one would be but it works.

everything is great except easy broken open
bought two one after another. Everything is good enough, except the collapsible open is not made well. I used twice, the open was broken and 15 fishes escaped from the net overnight. It is strongly suggested that the open should be fixed by sewing the open with fabric instead just using the threads. I gave it 4 stars instead 5 stars due to this manufacturing defect

Nice fish container, very light, easy to stow.
Very light easy to stow, it contains every fish that I catch, and I have caught many big cat fish. I was able to keep them healthy, and if I don’t get enough fish, I can leave the fish go, that I do catch go, they just swim away healthy as can be. (Update) After using this, for a year or more. I do, have a brain fart, now and then, So don’t forget to tie the lid closed. The fish say, Thank You, as they swim away. Even saying this, I still like it.

Needs a floater
Bought this for kayak fishing. We’ve lost too many stringers of fish and wanted to try a basket. Didn’t want a heavy metal one. This works well with a minor adaptation. I added a foot long piece of foam pipe insulation tube (like a noodle but smaller, and not brightly colored) over the handle. Taped the seam with gorilla tape. Holds great in water and now if I drop it or it breaks loose, it floats! Support it from the bottom when you catch a mess of fish. The mesh fabric is not that strong. Works well for our intent!

Works good if it holds up. Mine ripped and no longer closes.
Took this out 3 times. First 2 times it worked great. The third time the area that holds the draw string ripped all the way around it and the draw string came out. I not do not have the ability to close it. Not sure if I got a lemon or what.
