Is what it says it is. Has some short comings though.
I bought this for it's compact size. I thought it was small, but this thing is TINY. Too tiny for me personally. Other thing I wish I knew before hand is that it's not a push button open like the Milwaukee fastback. It has a slide button thing, which wouldn't be too bad but you have to slide it downward. Which feels unnatural, and combined with it's tiny size makes it difficult to open in a natural movement. Would be 10x better of the slide button slid upwards. I also don't like the pocket clip, it has no flex at all, just stiff. I never really liked any pocket clips other then the Milwaukee fastback though. All in all it is what it says it is, just wish I knew the short comings. Which is all personnel preference.

Perfect evolution of an already great knife.
Having purchased the original version of this knife I had to try this one out. Now I’m a big fan of the Milwaukee fastback knives but they do tend to be a bit bulky for every day carry. As usual the build quality is wonderful on this. I purchased the carbon fiber version. I like the fact that the handle on this one is longer than the original, which was obviously needed to incorporate the bit driver. The bit driver itself takes smaller 4 mm bits, but this is no problem as I have a ton of those just laying around. I like the deployment of the bit driver as it uses a plunge lock so you can just flick it out or you can use your hand to open it. This is not necessarily as heavy duty as a Milwaukee, but it keeps all of the basics that you need in a lightweight form factor. The only thing that I miss from the Milwaukee is that you could store an extra blade on that one however that’s not really a big deal. I love how much cutting area you have available due to the blade locking mechanism. Some people don’t like how tight the little wheel can get, but seeing how as I typically have a Leatherman or some other type of tool with me I can easily tighten or loosen it. In my experience at least I have found that I don’t necessarily have to tighten it down with a tool as typically just hand tightening is enough to keep the blade in there without it rattling or coming loose. This is another wonderful tool from this company, and I plan on buying some more of these to have his back up and to give us gifts once they come back into stock out of all the utility knives I have this is probably my new favorite.

Small but mighty!
First and foremost the build quality is fantastic, both the slide lock to deploy the blade and the button lock for the screwdriver feel very premium, as well as the grip surface of the handle itself - and the donut pattern on the handle is of course incredible!I usually carry a Milwaukee Fastback and I took some pictures to show the size comparison - this knife is noticeably smaller and lighter, and without all of the contours and styling indents the fastback has, it definitely slides in and out of my pocket more easily. That being said, my one concern with this knife is that there is no locking mechanism to keep the blade locked in the handle - the slide lock only locks it while it's deployed, adding a small resistance in order to open the blade, but not a full-on locking action. I've had instances of knives opening in my pocket with this design, so I'd definitely love to see an addition of a closing lock as well.Another thing i noticed while cutting up cardboard was that while more of the blade is exposed, any cardboard that was being cut on the usually enclosed blade section would then continue on to hit the plate securing the blade in the U1, and would sort of just make it's way to the section of the blade with nothing above it. And in one instance the cardboard continued up the blade and began to loosen the blade locking screw - this may not be an issue if the screw is extremely tight via tightening with the included tool, but figured it was worth mentioning.Overall this knife feels incredibly solid and I could see it being a 10/10 EDC if you don't mind the lack of a closing lock, I'd give it at least 4.5 stars if I could!

Really cool utility knife. A little pricey.
I use a utility knife almost every day for work. This one really caught my eye with the donut design. The quality is excellent all round and it seems like it will hold up well. I do think it’s pretty expensive for a utility knife but I like it so much I guess it’s worth it!

Pleasantly surprised.
Didn't expect this much value from what is essentially an Olight knife. Blade is sturdy, wasn't sure if I'd like the way the blade is secured because it seemed like it would get in the cutting path and bind up but it's really nice having so much more of the blade available than typical razors.
