Very good 1TB SSD for the price.
Arrived nicely packaged and on time. I have not used this company before but thought at the price, and seeing the feedback, it was worth a go. I have to say that I am pleased with this so far. the casing is aluminum which will help with cooling and the unit is very light. I ran a Disk management program and initialized, then ran a sector test, temperature test and and speed test with really good results that are on par with my more expensive well known ssd's. I have swapped out a HDD on a ps4 and there is a noticeable difference in loading times and the overall temperature of the console does seem lower. 2 hours of soak testing on fortnite at split screen and everything seems better and worth the upgrade. I will be using this make in the future for other upgrades or repairs if the price remains good and the reliability is proven good over time. On first impressions I would highly recommend.

Causes alot of BSOD errors
Faulty SSD, causes alot of BSOD (Blue screen of death) errors, which resulted in me losing all data.I got this because it was the cheapest 1TB SATA SSD i could find. I have since learnt my lesson and will not be buying again.I BSOD maybe 7 times a day now. Especially more after leaving my pc on "sleep" then returningUpdate: since have been refunded by Orico so props to their customer support

Works fine so far - very basic for the price, obviously, with no DRAM cache.The firmware version being VE0R840H suggests this (Orico S500 Pro, 1TB) might /potentially/ be exactly the same hardware as the KingSpec P3-1TB and POWERX SS1000. But this is just a guess based on googling.
