I'm giving this 5 stars since it met my current needs. I purchased this because I wanted a easy way to inspect my gutters without having to drag a ladder out. the total linear feet of gutters I was able to inspect was just over 300 feet on one charge. This is a lightweight drone so even the slightest breeze outside will make it more challenging to control. The instructions that came with the drone could use a little more work. I ended up finding a video on youtube that provided better clarity on how to use this drone since its my first one. The box was missing one of the blade guards, but that didn't prevent me from using the drone for its intended purpose. The recorded video and pictures I took came out ok as well. For a first timer, and the cost, it was well worth it.

When I first opened it, the drone felt very light. It gave off more of a toy-like or fragile vibe, but that did not bother me too much. It has actually held up fine.Setup was simple. I didn’t need to think about it. Just charge the battery, power it on, and you are ready to go. It connects quickly, and flying it the first time was straightforward.Indoors or in calm weather, it flies well and is pretty fun. Outside, especially when there is a little wind, it becomes harder to control. It starts to drift and does not always respond the way you expect. It is not unusable, but it takes more effort.The camera quality was better than I expected for something in this price range. From a photographer’s point of view, the image has a soft focus and not much dynamic range. Bright areas lose detail, and shadows are mostly flat, but the middle tones hold together. The whole frame has a light haze to it, probably because of compression or the small lens. Still, it captures a wide view and gives you a decent sense of your surroundings. Most of the scene stays in focus, and the colors lean slightly cool but still look natural in good lighting. It is not cinematic, but it is fun to see the world from above.I have not had any crashes, and nothing has broken so far. The emergency stop button works well, and the drone shuts off immediately when needed. That has helped avoid a few close calls.If you are looking for something lowcost that is fun to mess around with, this is a solid option. It is light, easy to fly, and does not make you feel stressed about breaking something expensive... good for beginners, kids, etc
