This has been up for 48 hours so far and is sadly already failing. It's currently doing its job, this the 3* but I'm not sure how much longer it will last.Issues:- the adhesive to attach it to the wall wasn't particularly strong but has managed.- the zip keeps getting caught on loose bits of fabric / threads.- the zip doesn't always "meet" the edges of the zip together, so there is a small gap. No problem currently but worrying.- where the zip meets the mesh has already detached along a 10cm span, sadly close to the bottom, so I'm a little worried my kitten may get out and I'll have to put something in front of it.I will update if things change. I need this to last 1-2 weeks ideally, so we'll see.

We needed a safe way to keep new kitten separated from adult resident cat but to allow them to see each other (to get used to each other). Working well, gradually increasing older cat's tolerance without the upset of kitten invading his space.It's much sturdier than we expected for the price, withstanding a busy household with 3 kids and a kitten throwing herself at it and climbing it at every opportunity!This one is also cheaper than other similar products and we're very pleased we bought it.

In the images it advertises itself as if it works on carpets/wool surfaces for attaching, but this is untrue, cat is able to very easily get through the net. Not 1 star as the adhesive is fairly good and the velcro sticks, but its main function does not work.

This product is awful and cheaply made and the measurements are completely wrong too!I used it and all seemed fine until the zip got stuck on the material and snapped off completely, making it difficult to use. Not only that, the sticky velcro tabs have pulled all the paint off of my door frame.I don’t have time to return/replace or whatever as it was needed quickly and can still somewhat be used and it’s only temporary, but I would not recommend this to anyone.

This was the only mesh door I could find that would fit the dimensions of my narrow door. It was easy for me to install and fits perfectly. The issue is the stitching round the zip, which my cats are slowly pulling out with their claws and teeth. There are two rows of stitching, which is good, but the thread used isn’t tough enough. Making the stitching smaller and covering it with a protective layer, would be a big improvement. As this fits so well, I will mend the stitching myself and cover it with tape, but not ideal.

The screen is easy to install, the instructions on the listing is easy to follow. The mesh material feels durable but I wouldn't use it for cats. They can climb it which will make it fall off the door, scratch it and pull the stitching out and make holes in the mesh.I use it for my small dog, he doesn't really jump up at things so this has been helpful to stop him going into / out of a room.The zips are okay quality but not very strong. They would probably snap if you pulled them with some force. I do like though that there are zips on both sides.It would also be handy to use to prevent wild animals coming into your home if you have the door open a lot.The adhesive feels strong enough to hold it up for a while but it won't be strong enough if I cat climbs it.You can just stick it in the washer or hand wash it. It's easy to clean.I think that it's a little overpriced.

The mesh bit is fine but the Velcro is rubbish and not nearly robust enough, but this separately if you really want to protect, in my case, kittens.
