Doesn’t try too hard, just works
My daughter, who handles most things technical in our house these days, set this up for me in under five minutes. I was rather expecting a tangle of drivers and confusion, but it worked straight away with my Windows laptop. Since then, I’ve used it during a few online workshops and even for scanning old family letters—remarkably clear for such a modest-looking device. The arm is flexible enough for different angles, and the autofocus does its work without complaint. It’s not built for grandeur, but if you need something reliable for showing documents, drawings or small demonstrations, it’s a sensible choice. I find it comforting when a tool simply does what it's supposed to.

Sturdy and straight to the point
I use it with my online tutorstudents. The software was easy todownload to my computer. The adjustments are on top ofthe camera head.It gets a wide range view for myneeds. The camera is clear however, when I record the light does dima tad, but that's an easy fix.I just make sure to use it in aspace with nice lighting. It folds down and puts awayeasily.

Valuable learning device for university.
The Gawervan document camera is a good tol for my university studies. Its 8MP resolution and built-in LED lighting ensure clear visuals, even in low-light conditions. The device's plug-and-play is compatible with my Windows laptop (though it is compatible with macOS). It lets me seamlessly integrate various video platforms like Zoom and Google Meet. Its adjustable arm and flexible rotating camera allow s me to capture visuals from handwritten notes to textbooks. The built-in microphone gives clear audio during online sessions. This is a useful tool for my uni studies for both in-person and remote learning.

Built-in mic works well, setup was truly plug-and-play on my Windows PC, and it folds up neatly. Excellent value for remote teaching !

Ticks every box and it's a bargain.
Really good quality document camera/visualiser. My wife uses it to review and mark her student's coursework (she's a teacher). it's ideal to enhance and essentially digitise the documents. Really decent quality camera which doubles as a web cam type thing for calls. The ring light is good quality and there arm is easily adjustable.A bargain at this price really. Something that is a great addition to teacher's classrooms or when working from home.

Surprisingly handy for classroom and home use
SurprisiI originally picked this up at the suggestion of my niece, who teaches primary school and uses one much like it for her remote lessons. I found it simple enough to set up—just plugged it in and it was ready to go. It works well as a visualiser, especially for showing documents or small items clearly on screen. The built-in microphone does the job, though I still prefer my own headset for better clarity. It’s not a luxury device by any stretch, but it serves its purpose without unnecessary complications. We’ve even used it at home for the odd family Zoom call and sharing drawings with the grandchildren. If you’re after something practical for teaching or light demonstration, and don't expect studio-level production, this one should do nicely.ngly handy for classroom and home use
