One for one swap out without rebuilding
Well, I can tell you is that it was a direct fit does not come with gasket so please order that separately or use what you have. It takes takes out the work or gamble of rebuilding your existing piece which I initially had the parts for but opted to just buy the whole unit and just swap out temperature in central California that I’ve seen thus far was around 140-150° on average so I guess it works as the average temp that I saw was closer to 185 to 200 on back road driving and not even hauling anything.

Perfect Fit, Easy Install
Exactly what I needed. Previous transmission cooked at 75000 miles. Was running at 190-215°. Chevy put a new transmission in. Was running at 190° consistently. Put about 2000 miles on it just to watch the temp.Changed to this new bypass, and the temp thus far doesn't get above 145°! Massive difference! Very impressed. Easy to swap over.I just added thousands of miles to this transmissions life. Definitely recommended.

Easy to swap out
Super easy to swap out the old one and functions like to should. Now my (6L80) transmission temp stays about 45-50 cooler.

Quality built product but did not come with gasket and is only open port so transmission never gets to proper operating tempGood product but wrong for me

Great Replacement for stock bypass
This is the way to go if you have an older truck. I attempted to install the internals into the existing bypass, but there was enough corrosion on the existing valve that it would not come apart. This, however, bolted right on in less than 10 minutes. The results are good; transmission operating temperatures have gone down from around 190 to a consistent 130.The addition of the magnetic bolt is nice. I haven’t observed any metal shavings in the fluid, but if there are, this will capture them. Great product, easy install, and a great value in my opinion.

She's cool
Installed in 2016 Silverado 4x4, on the highway transmission is now 149 degrees f , not sure if that's to cool?, everything is operating smoothly as it should. Outside temp 93 degrees f
