Rainbow Mircophone Magic!

This XLR/USB Dynamic Microphone is soooooo NICE! The sound quality is crystal clear, with excellent noise reduction that ensures only my voice comes through. I love the flexibility of both USB and XLR connectivity, making it perfect for my PC and audio interface. The intuitive controls, like the one-click mute and gain adjustment, are super handy. The RGB lighting adds a cool vibe to my setup. The sturdy stand and real-time monitoring are bonuses. Highly recommend it for podcasters, streamers, and gamers! Thinkin about getting another one :)

Great sound quality

This mic has really good sound quality and I love that it is so easy to use. The tabletop version is very stable, and also very versatile because it can travel with me. Easy to setup and great performance. Great product and value.

Good choice on a budget

It seems to be a carefully designed product, and the functional appearance is relatively good within this budget, and there is still room for improvement.

some latency/echo issues

Recording this through Logic Pro on an Apple MacBook Pro through USB and monitoring with headphones plugged into the mic (which shows up as PODCAST MIC), I get a slight echo while recording. Through adjusting settings, I have been able to reduce it, but not eliminate it. So as an audio interface, I can't recommended it, which for me was the biggest selling point, to have a mic/interface combo. When using the mic with MacBook for the input and plugging headphones directly into the output of the MacBook (bypassing the headphone port of the mic), I was able to get rid of the echo, but there was still a noticeable latency which can be quite distracting to the person speaking if they are also listening. For recording, without monitoring at the same time, it's okay, but that isn't really a solution for the person speaking, as monitoring is critical in most cases. If someone is speaking and someone else is monitoring (like from a sound booth to control room), maybe it's okay. If someone were to use this only as an XLR connected mic into a mixer, rather than routing through a computer, then that may be a use where latency/echo isn't a concern. But then for the cost of this mic, to not use the intended features, I would recommend other options.Unlike another reviewing, I did not experience any issues with low gain for the signal. The instructions say to speak within 4 inches of the mic. That could be awkward with the short desk stand. Handholding the mic is not a good approach, as the sounds from handling and moving it will be picked up in the recording. To keep the mic within the ideal distance from the speaker, a boom arm/stand is the better option.Overall, I don't think this is a good value, and I would suggest looking into other options, even if the cost is higher, and an external audio interface with a standard microphone is a common approach. Even sub $100 audio interfaces are capable of good results with no noticeable latency/echo issues*. NOTE* if the mic can also pick up enough signal from speakers or headphones, then feedback/echo will still be a concern, but usually not an issue while motoring with headphones at a safe volume, especially closed back full ear headphones such as the ones I am used with this mic.

Better than I expected

The media could not be loaded. I am increasing surprised by the sound quality that some of these lower-mid tier microphones are starting to put out. Only a few short years ago to get the sound quality that this microphone can produce a person would have to spend at least twice or more to get it.The audio capsule is very sensitive and actually performs more like a shotgun microphone when pointed at the subject. The sounds and tones are good before any filtering or audio effects are added. The RGB is fun but not necessary. The mute button is a nice feature that turns all of the RGB red when muted (a PC connected feature). The desk stand is fine but the microphone is sensitive to table hits and touching directly. Those sounds can be fixed with mic boom.It is by no means a perfect product or the secret diamond-in-the-rough that everyone should run out to get. Where this microphone is doing a bit better than its direct competition is with its dual output options. Not only can it be plugged directly into a PC for new audio beginners to use but it also has an XLR out for connecting to a mixer or audio interface for the more advanced user. While shopping for microphones in the mid-tier budget range it is an option to explore while trying to decide what to get. It is way better than I expected it would be. 5 stars.
