Fantastic keyboard
I love the feel of the keys and keyboard. I don't think you can come close to the quality here without spending a whole lot more money. As a minor complaint, I didn't like how it comes with the Apple keys installed which means you have to swap them out right out of the box. However, it occurs to me that Apple users probably couldn't do the reverse so they decided to make it easier for them. It's a minor complaint. Also, just be aware it is a little heavier than most keyboards - even the plastic version. That doesn't really bother me though as I suspect that is the cost for having good construction.

Awesome experience, makes me want to type on it and customize it
I have never liked most of the laptop or short travel keyboard I have used. They were so cramped and very uncomfortable to type on. This Keychron V6 Max mechanical Keyboard is awesome. Customizable lighting, from colors to patterns, and a good heavy feel to it. The keyboard doesn't feel like it will rattle away from you as you type on it. The brown tactile keys that I bought feel great without being louder than the laptop keyboard I had. The mechanical feel is just theraputic and the key travel isn't as much as I remembered the cheap one I grew up with 15-20 years ago. Wish I would have bought one before. I plan to use it for photo editing and light coding. The full 102+ key keyboard layout is awesome and spacious. the laptop key boards aren't comfortable to type on in the lap, cuz you gotta balance it all, the stand alone keys are much better. Full sized keys helps with the typing experience. I also had a BT logitech k380 before and it had very stiff keys, were these just fall at the right pressure. Because it is hot key swapable and customizable, in both layout and the type of keys after the purchase, I look forward to rearranging some keys. I came from a Windows and moving to a mac so somethings aren't in the right spot lol. The brown keys are not loud by any stretch, I wonder what the banana (clicky) keys feel like, but the I am glad I did not get the red (linear) keys. I like the tactile feel for sure. Let's me know I got the key pressed without having to slam it down all the way. It is expensive, but it works and for the right computer experience (mechanical keyboard) then it is worth it. A note on the keys, the back light does not shine thru the key itself, but around the keys. The white paint on the dark keys with a big monitor in front of you and the back light on and you won't have a problem, but with a laptop only screen high up on a stand using BT? Idk, not my use case, but I imagine it would not be as easy, just an fyi, only con I could think of.

Great Keychron Keyboard!
I absolutely love my new Keychron mechanical keyboard with silent cherry red switches! This keyboard has wonderful sculpted keycaps that have a great feel when typing. The keys move very smoothly and the silent cherry red switches really limit typing sounds which is wonderful in a crowded office environment. It is a good looking keyboard as well. The blue keys give a great contrast to the black keyboard frame. I highly recommend this keyboard!

The only keyboard you need
Probably the best value tactile keyboard you can buy. Very easy to type, not a lot of typing fatigue involved, battery life is reasonably long, offers bluetooth, receiver, and cable connectivity. Has all the keys you need and then some.

Bad "J" Key on New Keyboard, Avoid This Brand
I haven't been using this keyboard for more than a week or two, but have already started to have a problem with one of the keys. The "J" key needs to be pressed with more force than any other key on this keyboard. It seems like it's having trouble with contact. I did check to see if it could be an issue related to the switch, but after swapping a couple of switches, the issue is still present.Upon doing some research, it looks like there is just a general design defect here as others have noted having this issue. I can still get the key to work, but there are a lot of times when I am typing quickly and the "J" will just end up missing. I then have to go back and fix it, which costs me time. I bought this keyboard as I do a lot of typing and wanted to get something that both felt good and could handle fast typing speeds. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be cutting it.Overall, it feels great and the backlighting is pretty decent. However, the issues with the J key are likely going to be a major problem. Based on other reviews, it seems like it will get worse over time.Update: I have reached out to support. It was a bit of a painful process to get them to do something with a lot of unnecessary back-and-forth for an issue they should apparently be expecting given quite a few reviews have similar issues, but it seems they are sending a replacement PCB to hopefully fix the issue. Unfortunately, was given no estimate or even confirmation on when the PCB is being shipped. I guess I just wait for it.Update 2: Two weeks in and no replacement PCB. No communication. Don't think I will be purchasing from Keychron anymore. Currently conducting research to determine which brand to go with moving forward.

Quality Keyboard with a Few Detractors
Very well built. The keys are very responsive. The 2.4 Ghz dongle would not pair with the keyboard on my MacBook Pro, but Bluetooth worked. Running on Bluetooth was super annoying because the keyboard would put itself to "sleep" after only a couple of minutes of no use. I ended up buying USB-C expansion dock, so I could run it by cable, instead to avoid that issue.I only wish that the backlighting also lit up the letters/symbols on the keys, too, instead of only underneath the keys.
