Great Product
The most important thing for me associated with this product was the availability. it is not something that you can usually get as an individual item at the normal retailers. The product was delivered very timely as well.

Didn't fit the inner section of the bulb holder
This item arrived as described, however as having being suitable for the Halogen bulbs i use they clips would not fit into the inner part of the bulb holder. Disappointed I was

No good for our lights
Items received & looked ok but didn't fit our spotlights, double check the shape of your existing clips before ordering...

For MR16 downlights (typically referred to as GU10 or GU5.3 depending on the connection and voltage)
Cheap, works fine - the ones I got are quite dark - I prefer silver ones as they are more discreet (for my fitting) but that's quite minor - how often do you actually look up at the light fittings?These are the round type - no bent bits on the side.

Cheap Replacement
Not an easy item to find on the high street. I was pleased to locate these having somehow 'lost' one from a ceiling fitting. The price and delivery are great, and the retainer fits fine. The one criticism I have is the ring has a grey metal finish rather than chrome; this does not affect anything other than appearance - if you care to look at it.Sod's law I found the one that had popped out shortly after receiving these ones. However, at the price I am more than happy to keep them for the day when somebody needs one and doesn't know where to start looking.

Much as expected
Unlike my existing circlips, the bent ends are not in the plane of the rest of circlip but are slightly bent downward and inward (which makes them easier to insert and remove, but also to scratch the fingers).The diagram implies this if you examine it carefully, and (not shown) the clips are supplied with a small ring linking the bent ends to stop multiple clips getting entangled.Delivered within three days, and inexpensive compared with other offers - what's not to like? I'm looking forward to ditching a lot of old rusty circlips.
