It features a nice-looking, durable, and waterproof design and comes with mounting hardware and instruction manuals. This keypad is compatible with 125kHz key fobs and cards, 8 – 10 digit passwords, 4 digit PIN codes, and the Tuya smart phone app. The instruction manuals seem to be well-written and clearly show how to change different settings and the keypad responds quickly and appropriately to inputs. This keypad is also compatible with 26-bit Wiegand access control systems and offers a doorbell contact.After testing the keypad with a PIN code and a 125kHz key fob, I found that the keypad works well and responds quickly to both inputs. The backlit keypad is a nice feature that allows users to see what they’re doing, even in a low-lit area.Overall, I’m impressed by both the quality and functionality of this access control keypad. This keypad can function as a stand-alone unit or it can be integrated into an existing access control system. This would make a great keypad for a storage unit, garage door, or many other applications where a commercial access control system is not practical.
