Good for backups
After 1 month: Always recognized, the rubber holder is secure "enough", does not fall out unexpectedly. I use it with 3 ssds, it is always recognized (on win10, macOS). The heatsink is actaully optional for most uses (a room with normal airflow provides enough cooling). Satisfied for the price point. All included parts are decently made (not sturdy, but they do the job well).

Very good buy
This is a lifesaver for me. I had a Microsoft Surface Pro crash. We were able to get all of the data off and store it on this SSD, and we transferred the data when needed. I would highly recommend.

Looks cool and does what you want it to do.
Incredibly easy to use and set up.Worked almost immediately with my SSD after going through the set up process. If you have a camera and plan on using it to record with that, I would format the drive on your camera first and can almost guarantee it will work with your computer after. Most DSLRs that have SSD recording functionality can easily format your SSD for you.Strong build quality, LEDs make it so you can see when it's working/transferring data, and I appreciate the usb c to old usb attachment for flexibility.

Great little product
This product is awesome. The little heat sink strip that it comes with seems to works perfectly to dissapate heat as far as I can tell. I did not notice any heat and it only got very slightly warm with use. I used the USB c to c cable it came with so throughput should be as advertised, although I didn't actually measure it. I liked the ease of use and its locking mechanism works great once you figure it out. One end of it has sort of large arrows on it that you push down on and slide to lock or unlock the whole thing together. The one issue I had with it is the little rubber nubs for locking the SSD down once you slide it in place. The documentation called them screws but they are not screws. They are little black rubber nubs, (plugs) that you press down on, kind of hard too, that do lock it down. This was the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. I thought it was very nice that they included two of these as it's quite possible to lose one while trying to get it down into place.I would buy another one and I do recommend this product.
