Couldn't use with our existing Panasonic DECT system
We wanted to extend our existing panasonic DECT 6.0 wireless phone system with some more handsets from this group. We were able to pair these handsets with our existing base fine and they would say "registered" but they would NOT stay connected and never rang. You could occasionally get a dial tone. We thought maybe it was WiFi interference (though they operate at different frequencies) so we shut off our router and that did not help. I *think* it had to do with the eco system we couldn't turn off that changed the antenna power depending on how much it thinks you need. I just don't think that system works well with older base units.Handsets feel really nice in your hand and are MUCH MORE legible than the orange displays from our older DECT 6.0 system. Which turned out to be bad for us, because......in the end, we just gave up and moved to this newer system and canned our original Panasonic DECT 6.0 system and will have to buy more handsets, so this will end up costing more than we originally thought with the "extend the existing system" plan. Caveat Emptor if that is your plan, too.

Easy to connect and set-up.
I love them. They are just what I needed. The cost wasn't bad either.

This POS has no headset jack! Almost worthless!!
What good is a cordless phone that doesn't have a headset jack? By my reckoning these phones are worthless. If you suffer from bursitis, arthritis or poor circulation in your hands use of a headset is requisite for lengthy calls.I wanted a basic cordless phone set. I detest answering machines and personally, "bells and whisltes suck"! My 15 year old Panasonic's had headset jacks and I naturally presumed newer ones would, too. An error on my part that cost me a bunch of money. I spent a lot of time searching for a solution but to no avail. Unlike European models that will accept almost any other product, even different brands (GAP, Generic Access Profile), North American models are prohibited from this feature due to tight radio frequency regulations(?!).

Great product and value
A year later we are still extremely pleased with these phones. We replaced another Panasonic set and frankly, I would rather buy a car for all the stress that goes into replacing a daily appliance, but these were super simple to set up and easy to use. I bought an extra set to have more around the house, and they integrated seamlessly. Buy with confidence.

I am very happy with these phones. I needed 3. They were very easy to set up. Panasonic has always been a good brand.
