I've been using a dock for my M1 Mac Mini that has an NVME slot and multiple SSD card slots. It was only 10Gbps and disconnected frequently, I'm reviewing the Thunderbolt 4 version (40Gbps). I keep my Windows VM on it with working video projects so very annoying. Adobe Premiere Pro didn't like the access speed either and would frequently complain about the drive not keeping up with what the software was trying to do.However, this little sucker is working great. The construction is top-notch, heavy duty aluminum, and the SSD snaps into then slot with a satisfying snap, no sloppy connection here. Oh, and anyone that provides a precision screwdriver to drive there small screws (with the cap that rotates) to make things easier with my man-mitts securing the SSD into the enclosure gets my vote. It comes with a number of thermal pads which is nice, and extra screws for the case. Fantastic deal!

Needed to use this enclosure to swap ssd for my legion go and it works amazingly. I still have it since I usually use it for extra storage or upgrading my friends storage as well. Cloning the ssd is a breeze and it connects pretty quick as well. Would definitely recommend

Worked flawlessly to clone my original SATA SSD to a new larger NVMe SSD. The free DiskGenius made the cloning and repartitioning a breeze
