This is the only nightguard that I can tolerate, so I am very grateful that it exists. Plastic nightguards trigger my oral lichen planus, but I need a nightguard because I grind my teeth. I moisten the hemp nightguard, put it in place, and then tape my mouth lightly shut for the night. The nightguard stays in place well and is perfectly comfortable. I can tell that it is protecting my teeth, and I notice less jaw cracking since I started wearing it (a few weeks ago). Each morning I rub it under running water, dip it in boiling water, and hang it to dry, and once a week I boil it for three minutes. An excellent product!

I'm dying to find an alternative to a plastic mouth guard, but sadly this wasn't it. Basically, it's just a piece of hemp fabric that doesn't stay in place, and in my case gave my psyche some permission to GRIND HARDER while I was sleeping. The first night it just fell out (somewhere in bed) and I had to reach for the second one; the second night it stayed in (getting used to it) but I woke up with the whole right side of my jaw in crazy pain...I had been grinding the thing all night. It's like if you put a piece os burlap in your mouth, and while asleep, there's nothing to prevent you from grinding: it just gives your jaw permission to grind harder. If the company wants to make one that works, they really need to craft one that is shaped around teeth, like a bleaching tray. Even if it fits loose-ish it will stay in place and the structure (a bit harder, I'm suggesting) will train the brain to not try to bite.

I was very skeptical about this at first, but the idea of grinding into plastic…yikes. I have to say it completely exceeded my expectations!It’s soft but durable, comfortable enough to sleep in (I could never sleep in the bulky ones from the dentist), and somehow stays in place. I love that I’m not sleeping with plastic in my mouth anymore. After just a few nights, I noticed I wasn’t waking up with jaw pain and my jaw felt easier to relax during the day.It has lasted longer than other guards—about a month so far and cleaning it is super easy. I rinse it and hang it to dry. It’s simple and actually works. I genuinely didn’t expect a strip of material to be this effective, but it is.Highly recommend for anyone who wants something that works without being toxic or bulky. Worth every penny and more!

Cost too much for what it is. I didn’t find that it formed to my teeth as well as others have said and it made me feel that it might lodge in my throat during the night.

I have been looking for a mouth guard that wasn't made from some sort of plastic. Microplastics have been linked to heart disease and cancer so I don't want that in my mouth for several hours every night. I ran across this and thought I would try it. It actually works. I've gotten into a routine of boiling it every morning while making my tea, so that part isn't as odd as it first was. I have a high bite, so I was able to fold over the front part of it to be able to adjust for my teeth so the pressure is dispersed more evenly, so that worked out well. I have ideas that could improve the design but I doubt they would listen to me lol. The price is a little much also, but I will pay it to be able to avoid plastics.

Thank you so much for making these! I tried BPA free plastic ones but then you’re getting micro plastics. I tried silicone but i don’t trust them either! It’s so great to find organic hemp guards. They stay in place all night, they give you 2 so as one is completely drying I use the other one. Also to clean you just soak in almost boiling water for a minute which is way better than using whatever chemicals are in efferdent

YES! If you need a nightguard, get this! I was skeptical, but also didn't want to invest in yet another, overly priced, off-gassing hunk of "resin"/plastic to wear while sleeping (while my body is supposed to be healing).I figured there wasn't much to lose with this hemp thing, but I also couldn't imagine how it could serve as a nightguard as it is flat and not molded from my teeth. I was also afraid it would slip out during the night. It doesn't, and the best part is, I think that it helps your jaw and spine realign. I say this because I always need a back support to fill in the curve of my lower back when I sleep, but last night, the support didn't even fit. Better yet, it felt so good to lie without it.I just pray this company continues to make this incredible gift.I've only worn it one night, and if my experience changes, I will definitely update this review, but for now, I'm a believer.

I like to do as much as possible to find natural alternatives to chemicals and plastics. If you aren't a gagger (like when you have x-rays done on your back teeth) then maybe you'll be OK. I couldn't use these. I cut them down to size, followed the directions, and even wet them before I put them in my mouth as another buyer recommended in their review to help mold to my teeth. That didn't help. It literally is hemp material between your teeth with a string that does absolutely nothing except annoy you.
