I disliked the taste in particular. It did NOT taste like other licorice root I have used. I disposed of it.

It increased the acid in my stomach. I felt like a fire was lit in my chest whenever I took this licorice.

I have COPD so I use licorice to help ease my breathing and help my lungs. I have noticed a difference since I started taking it. The tablets are easy to swallow with no bad taste, and the price is okay too. 4 stars

Well I got these two help with gut health. I've read that licorice is good for your microbiome, at least in some people. But for some people like me I guess taking a licorice supplement that has a higher dose like this does causes diarrhea. Got a bad case of diarrhea the first day I took it. Second day didn't take it, no diarrhea. Third Day took it again and back came the diarrhea. There are good benefits to taking licorice but I guess the only way you're going to know if it works for you it is to try it.
