I have purchased this twice, first time i received one with White remote and second time with black remote.First one is working fantastic without any issues, good range, no noise.Second one gives weird behavior- Unpredictable delays when remote button pressed- Fan noise at startup- Fan noise even when i switch on or off the lightMy suggestion to vendor is to bring consistency in what you build.

Instructions should be clear and humming sound is an issue for low speed

I received the product before promised delivery date..so 5 stars for Amazon deliver. Now lets come to product. The main unit is compact and can be placed easily inside the switch board. Wiring is also not a big issue. Any person with basic circuit knowledge can fix it easily.The remote control unit is also very compact and looks good but the quality of material feels cheap. For daily use, it should be made with good quality plastic material.The unit that I received was faulty. The fan was switching on/off with the remote properly. But light was always on. It was not turning off with the remote, I confirmed that connections were proper.Also, as most of the people reviewed, the fan makes a lot humming noise with this unit but works proper with my old regulator.So based on above two problems I returned this product because if in replacement unit both light and fan will work as expected then even the humming of fan is not acceptable.The manufacturer should work on this problem if all customers are complaining about the same issue.
