Great little fishing toy for the bath or water table at home.
For the price, it's exactly what I hoped for. It's tough for little kids though. My daughter is 3, and the target are is a tiny magnet on the pole and a tiny little screw on each fish/target. If you want to make it a little easier while they learn coordination, you can always remove a couple of screws and add a small washer to make the target bigger. Otherwise, my daughter loves it. She cheats a bit, but she has a smile on her face and that's all that counts. If I can offer a final bit of advice, don't show your kid that there are 30 fish and things to catch. We pull out 5 or 6 at a time. They are cheap, but so is the price. I only got one fishing pole in mine, but I'm not complaining.

Lots of pieces, lots of fun
I'm planning to use these as part of Halloween carnival games so I cant comment on the durability yet but compared to other fishing toys I considered this one is very good. The lines really do reel up & down smoothly and the magnets are sufficient to the task.I could see this keeping little folks happily entertained for a very long time on dry land ,in the tub, or in a kiddie pool. The fish, etc are hollow so they could certainly get smooshed out of shape by eager little hands if this is a concern. Usually toys such as this (multiple small pieces) end up every where but this actually comes with a decent storage bag.I think that is a big plus.More than worth the price IMO.

Makes going fishing fun for the little ones.
Thes little sea critters are all cute & each have a little magnet either at their mouth or other place if they are sea weed etc. The little fishing rods also have a magnet on the end of the lure & pick up the fish or other objects. The little kids love this in the pool. Haven’t tried it in the bath tub yet.07/04/2018 update...played with these in the pool with 9 year old boys..... not a good idea..they got the strings all tied up with each other because the magnetics attached to each other...and had fun pulling them apart which pulled the plastic pieces apart. These are not made for rough-housing and I was not expecting them to be. Also, when the boys pulled the little fishes roughly the little screws (that served as the magnetic part on the fish) pulled out they stripped the threads on the fish making them irrepairable..... not the product's fault, but not a product for rough playing. ...the 3 year old at our house enjoyed playing with this until it was broken by the big kids...

You Get What You Pay For
I purchased this for my son, because he loves going fishing with me and playing with another toy fishing rod and fish kit. Sadly, this kit not only doesn't compare, but it also feels extremely unsafe. If you read the package, it says to closely supervise your child while playing with this toy fishing kit, because it can be a choking hazard. This is due to the pieces being made of cheaper plastic and can easily break apart. Also, the plastic fish are made of cheaper plastic and the metal piece that the magnet latches on to is just a small screw! As you can see, there was way too many potential issues to this fishing kit to keep it and I returned it.

Hours of fun!
I bought this for my 2 and 4 year old daughters, and they have loved it from the second it came. It has also been played with by kids up to age 10, and was a hit with them as well. I love how flexable the poles are. They have been through quite a lot over the past few weeks, and both still work perfectly. Something I was unaware of is that all of the pieces you catch have a screw in them, as opposed to a magnet. I am EXTREMELY happy with that, because I was worried about having to constantly check that the magnets weren't falling out, but the screws are in very tightly so it's much safer! Absolutely worth the price, and I will buy a new one when either the poles break or my kids lose enough of the fish!

Cute toy for the bath or pool but, the quality is poor!
Nice set, big assortment of “catches”.Only down fall is the fishing poles are cheap and poorly made for children of this age group.Within the first few hours the poles were collapsing everytime the kids went to use them. Extremely frustrating for young kids. My husband glued them into place open. The fishing pole didn’t last very long before the reel mechanisms broke, rendering them completely useless.

Not bad for the price
A little more flimsy than I thought they would be but it's definitely not bad for the price. I don't know if they will work yet as they are a Christmas gift.

Do not buy this product
I would ONLY possibly buy this item if it was sold from the dollar store. All 39 items for $1 seems fair. It’s extremely cheaply made. It was already falling apart when I opened the package and the poles came apart while we took them out of packaging. They can constantly be put back together, if you enjoy fixing a cheap toy every minute while your kid is playing with it. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price or for anyone with small children since they use screws as the magnet (not a joke...the fish have screws in the mouth..)
