Twist ties are for amateurs. Velcro is a PITA but was the best universal solution (because purse clips don't work in all situations). Keep away from anything that's not magnet friendly, obviously - though we're kinda past the days of CRT displays, floppy discs, and mechanical hard drives (for the most part - they're still good for some use cases). I don't advise using these inside a computer, though the heads are really too large. Behind and under the desk though? Absolutely.

Velcro straps are tedious. Zipties are annoying and wasteful.These magnetic ties are perfect! they compliment the Eureka height adjustable desk that I purchased recently perfectly.

These things are super convenient. Only knocking a star off because if you're not careful, the magnets can be pulled out of the rubber strap. You'll want to make sure the part that's sticking to a magnetic surface is the part that's fully covered by the strap.

The magnets pop out every time I separate the cord. Not very good if it’s something you have to unwrap often.

The media could not be loaded. I work with computers and 3D printers, so I have no shortage of cables and cords needing organization. I use a variety of options: twist-ties, zip-ties, velcro, and various 3D-printed reusable cable ties. Until recently, however, I had never seen magnetic cable ties before. I found these from Eureka Ergonomic and wanted to try them.Obviously they are a bit more expensive than velcro and zip ties. My thought is that for cables I frequently use, these make sense as a time saver to quickly wrap and unwrap, plus I can leave them stuck to my metal work cabinet while they aren't in use that way they're ready to grab for when I do need them.The magnets are strong enough to do the job. The band between is likely silicone. It has a little stretch to it and seems sturdy enough for repeated use.I am happy with these and have no complaints. If they were to include a cable tag on them for labeling purposes that would be a nice upgrade to see. I haven't decided yet if they save enough time to justify the expense for buying more of them. They are handy and cool to me.

They fall apart easy

I find these cable magnets incredible! As can be seen in the first photo, I was surprised with how strong these were! One magnet was just about enough to hold my headphones to a metal door; two magnets was more than enough! For how small the actual magnets are, they have quite a bit of strength. Additionally, while the magnets can be removed from the silicone casing, I found that I would have to slightly pry them to pull them out; this wasn't something where they would just pop out on accident. Given how my experience seems to be quite different from the experience of other reviewers, I question how good the quality control measures are by this company, but when it comes to the product I received, I'd gladly recommend this!
