Perfect fit and function for Kenmore series 300 water softener

This unit was the answer to repairing my 1 year old softener. Hard to believe that this little motor would be the answer...but it was!

How it fits
Definitely read your description clearly so you don't get the wrong part. They all look the same but it is important to make sure your getting your size. The new gear on the part is perfect.

Fits WHESFC
The original motor had plastic gears the broke. This one has metal gears and the cam 7283489 is required to replace the broken parts

Incorrect dimensions gear on motor
Motor gear too small can’t function to fitting cam gear .

Was easy to replace, was the part needed for our water softener. Unfortunately we had more issues to fix, softener was old so ended up replacing anyways
