So pretty at night!
So far it works perfect! I love how bright the lights are and it looks so pretty at night. It was extremely easy to put together, took me a couple minutes and that’s cuz I had to unwind the lights coming out the spout. The price wasn’t bad at all either. Hopefully it will work good for a long time, I will update if it breaks in the meantime.

Absolutely adorable
Ease of installation, all you had to do is remove the battery saver and of course the film that goes over the solar sensor, definite value for the money so cute. Have it installed so it looks like the twinkle lights are watering my flowers definitely a plus to the fairy garden.

One stopped working after only couple months use.
I bought these Dec 15,2024 for my wife to put in her flower bed. After being out of the package foe a couple months and working as they should, one has now stopped working. I need a replacement.

Bright lights but short stand
Lights are bright, says waterproof but the instructions in the box says keep out of extreme rain, Snow, cold or hot temps. Stakes needs more extensions to place in yard but ok for pots. It only came with 3 parts and they are short. Did not read the height before buying just presumed it would have several like most of the similar items on the market that require stands.

Doesn't work. Unreliable, poor directions, poor implementation, or all three.
I really wanted to like this product, and logically it ought to work very well. Despite trying many variations, only one of the two units worked and that was only once.Using it should be very simple. It's a solar cell chargeable battery, some LED lights (with built-in decoding), and interestingly, a very clever controller. Only two wires connect to a string of LEDs, the wires carry DC power and control signals that tell the associated LED when to turn on and take power from the wires, thus enabling different active displays. The controller has several programs that cause the lights to make interesting patterns. It realizes this by sending multiplexed signals to the LEDs along the same wires with power. I have some similar seasonal lights (that work with the same principle) which are powered by disposable batteries, rather than solar powered. They produce great displays, and almost everyone that see them wants to know how to get some for themselves. I thought these Watering Can lights would work similarly, just be solar powered. There is a push button switch on the controller/solar collector unit. Engraved in the plastic housing is an explanation of the switch function. It shows two toggle positions, one pressed in and one popped out corresponding to "On" and "Off". Regrettably, the actual switch does not work this way. It is ONLY a momentary push on type (it does not have a mechanical toggle). The minimal printed instruction sheet directs, "Switch: Short press to turn on, Long press to turn off". It also directs, "When using this product for the first time, please turn ON the light and fully charge it in the sun. However, If the battery is fully discharged (so the controller can't function) and there is no mechanical on/off toggle, only momentary push, it is not possible to determine an off/on state. On the assumption that a mechanical toggle on/off switch is unnecessary and the unit can always be ON for charging and display, the units were placed in strong direct sunlight for a day. Upon being brought into a dark room, one of the lights immediately began running one of the 8 programs (without needing a button push). Pushing the button moved through the 8 programs. I did not turn it off with a "long push", just let it run. This was the one and only time this unit worked. The other unit exposed to the same conditions as the first never turned on.Both units have been exposed to direct sunlight for several full days, yet never came on at darkness or with button pushes.I'm going to give them one more day, with exposure to strong artificial light. If they don't work then, I plan to return before the return window closes. As I wrote earlier, I really wanted these to work ...

Work nice after being repaired
Pretty, work well after having to resolder the light's connection. One lantern was fine, the other went off after 15-30 secs. Turned out to be the wires solder connection to the circuit board.
