SODIMM didn't work
After plugging this SODIMM in for an upgrade to 8GB of RAM, my Laptop would not boot up properly. It would not display the HP logo BIOS splash and the CPU fan went into full speed and nothing else happened. Switched off & removed SODIMM and all was well, Laptop booted up properly.Took out the original 4GB SODIMM in case it was incompatible and plugged this 4GB SODIMM in on it's own and got the same result after switching Laptop on. Conclusion - SODIMM is faulty and I returned it to Amazon for a full refund.(I'm an IT Consultant with 35 years plus experience in the business and know what I'm doing).
