I first purchased one of these in 1987; twenty eight years later I am buying the same brush. This is the first time I have had to replace it.This really is a complete classic the natural boar bristles work brilliantly. It has just the right stiffness to brush both the hair on the top of your head and a beard/facial hair. This is perfect for normal hair. If your hair is overly styled this is not the brush for you. It is designed to pull through your hair and massages your scalp as it does. This is a superb brush of the very highest quality it will last you decades.In a world where every thing is disposable where nothing it expected to last. THIS DOES.

Lost a star for the late delivery but the product is fantastic for my hair type (thicker). It's bigger than I thought it would be, which is great. I can palm a basketball and the brush is very comfortable to hold.The bristles themselves are firm but soft enough. It's early days as I've only used it twice but it's a great quality brush from what I can gather so far.

About 45 years ago, I received a Kent brush for my birthday. It was their model MC3 and I used it daily for 30 years or more. By then, its bristles had worn and softened, so when I found a similar looking brush in a major US retailer’s catalog, I bought it and moved the original Kent brush to my travel kit. Unfortunately, the new non-Kent brush did not hold up anywhere near as well. Perhaps like dogs, brushes and their owners start to resemble one another, because several years ago, the bristles on the replacement brush started to fall out down the center of the brush, just like the hair on the top of my head. Recently, it got to the point that the new brush didn’t actually brush anything at all.I knew that I needed a new brush and I was delighted to find the Kent MG3 available on Amazon. It arrived promptly, in good quality packaging that was appropriate for the size of the brush - no huge, mostly empty box here.The brush fits wonderfully in my hand, like the original one. The bristles are firm, comfortable, and well anchored in the brush. It does a great job on my remaining hair and my moustache.At my age, this may be the last brush I ever need to buy. I just wish I’d done this sooner.

The brush is definitely a high quality brush. The wood is solid and the bristles are very strong but not too stiff. That being said, a lot of the bristles come out after each use and this thing is really hard to clean. I have pretty short hair (about 1 inch long) and the hairs get completely tangled in there and its really hard to clean. Also, I bought it because everyone spoke of the high quality and they were not wrong, but now that I think about it, how much better can a $40 brush be compared to a $10 one?

I bought a cheap brush for beard grooming a month ago and ended up getting a refund because the quality was laughable and the bristles were plastic. With my processed refund I decided to pay the extra $30 to try a real brush. The difference in quality is obvious.The brush is larger than expected. It's a brush head minus the handle so it covers a large area.The bristles are tough and strong, and they don't mash together when brushing my thick beard. No force needed to get my beard under control after a long sleep.The brush has weight. You can feel this brush in your hand unlike like cheaper alternatives.It's a brush for people who care about long term purchases and getting the most out of your money.Between the moustache comb I've recently purchased from Kent and this brush, they now have a new customer for life.

This Kent brush is the quality you would expect from the manufacturer. Feels great in your hand and tames even the wildest hair. I purchased this brush for my beard and it works wonders. The only draw back is that the bristles are not as soft as I thought they would be. Thus is not worth a four star review as the stiffness works well at exfoliating the dead skin cells leaving my face looking younger.
