DHCHAPU Universal Remote Control Compatible with Polk Audio Signa S1 S2 S3 RE6214-1

I bought the new remote because the back of the original remote would not stay on, would not hold the battery in tight enough to get a good connection. They ended up separating at which time my dog chewed up the piece that never really held the battery in the first place. SOOOOO, I bought a replacement. Same issue. Remote works fine, uses a AAA battery that isn’t held in place by the back. The back of the remote is constantly falling off, won’t hold battery in place. The only reason I gave it two stars - it works if I physically hold the back on and it allows me to use the sound bar remotely from bed - for now. Grrrrrrrrr.

Not sure what the problem is. I sit about 12 feet away form the speaker system and sometimes it works on first push, sometimes not. I have changed the batteries thinking that was the problem. still has the same problem. I think it is the Polk speaker system. The remote that came with the system did work well either.

This is a nice little remote. Much thinner than the original that came with the sound bar. Functionality is good and it arrived pretty quick. My biggest complaint is that it requires a CR2025 battery and that was not included. For $20 I think that including that battery would have made total sense as that is not a battery that I think most people have lying around. It took me several attempts at multiple stores to find one in stock.

I was having trouble finding any replacement remotes for this specific model. I decided to try this one and it works just fine with my soundbar. Don't forget to pick up batteries for this purchase, though, it doesn't come with one. I'm very happy with this item.

I got tired of fighting the buttons of the original one that is intermittent every day. I’ve changed the batteries many times, thinking it would fix the problem. It’s frustrating pressing the volume and it doesn’t work. With this new remote, it works with one press and that’s how it should be. Now I’m happy with new replacement remote and threw away the original one.
