Really good colours, not much needed at all to get pastel and created great vibrant colours if you add a touch extra.

Only a tiny amount need as these colours are soooooooo good

These pastel colours from Squires Kitchen are superb, they mix easily into royal icing which is what I really wanted for my biscuits. The colour palette you can achieve is brilliant, using a cocktail stick add a tiny bit of colour at a time, the more colour you add the darker the shade without over colouring your icing. I find the softer gel paste is easy to work with without leaving a streak of colour which can be hard to mix in with other brands I have tried mainly Sugarflair, will be trying other Squires Kitchen colours too.

I’ve used the colours in macarons and they do change when baked but they worked well.

Ok- some of the colours were pastel but the purple is not great. Second what someone else has said in that it has a grey tome to it- the second layer on the cake in the picture was supposed to be lilac but barely took. In the second lilac cake I had to add much more than the others to get that shade.In contrast the blue came out too strong and definitely wasn’t a pastel colour.On a positive, colours worked well in buttercream.

Very impressed with these - bought to make a cake for our daughter's birthday and was very pleased to see how much pigmentation they have! I was so used to liquid colouring that I overdid it the first time. Perfect if you're looking to make different colour buttercream!

I used these to colour white butter cream frosting to ice cupcakes. You don’t need much to get a dark colour. I added a little at a time to get the saturation I wanted and I’ve never done this before! Worked well and didn’t make the cupcakes taste odd.
