Very well made and easy to change
Fitted just right but make sure you order the correct length of the spindle

Good for the price
Good overall but the key doesn’t go in and out smoothly - always needs a bit of a jiggle. I also dislike that the key slot is in the same direction when locked or unlocked so you can’t visually check if it’s locked - other window locks I have are vertical or horizontal depending on if they are locked or not, so a quick glance is all that is needed.

An excellent replacement handle
After years of regular use the original handle snapped off my uPVC window and I chose this handle to replace it. I have been surprised by how good it is in terms of quality, and I like that it was so easy to fit. New screws were supplied, along with plastic covers and a suitable Yale-branded key. For anyone who is unsure about size then the spindle length refers only to the length of the spindle which is visible from the body of the handle, and not to its entire length through it (see photo).Where the old handle has broken it is worth checking whether the mechanism in the frame needs cleaning and oiling, as unnecessary strain could well cause the new handle to break too. I’m very pleased with this handle, and it fits the window frame perfectly. I will have no hesitation in ordering another one in future if any other handles fail.
