Really gorgeous book with included alphabets!
I got this because the items listed in the summary seemed more appealing to me than the first one. This one is really for me, because it has a couple of the alphabets in it, and I really love learning new alphabets. Writing in different languages is very fun for me, so this was an unexpected and very welcome find! The quality of the book is excellent. The cover is soft and lovely to touch, as are the pages. They are thick with a nice feel to them. The artworks are vibrant and stunning. The text and lore are fascinating and well written. So far I've found almost no errors, so it seems well edited. It even smells nice. Not sure how to describe it, but it's a nice book smell. It doesn't smell inundated with chemicals or glue like other books I've gotten in the past.Matoya's hat that comes as an extra is very lovely, though sadly it's not dyeable. I've found Abyssal Blue dye seems to be the closest match for glams. The hat is of course very big, but I think it looks amazing on my FemRoe as part of a very witchy glam.Overall I'm super thrilled with the book, and would highly recommend it. I'm so pleased I'm actually planning on getting the first one sooner rather than later. I think this is a perfect buy for any FF14 fan. Plus it's sadly about the only way to acquire Matoya's awesome hat.

Another great book
Just like the previous encyclopedia, this book has great quality. It’s made from the same material and has a similar design, though this book is red instead of brown. It certainly fits the look of a new entry in a book series, matching the first one well but having its own unique look to distinguish itself as a separate book. For the contents, it’s also similar in that way to to first book. It begins with a brief overview of the world and the new settings for the expansion. Then it goes over the timeline and various major events, the lands, and more notable people and groups. However, it also not only gives details about the two new jobs introduced in the Stormblood expansion, but also provided even more details about the gear used by all of the jobs. It also goes into detail about the various dungeons in the game, and like before it lists the different creatures you’ll face.Overall, I’d highly recommend this one like I do the first. It’s a great source of information that is missable or even absent in the game, builds further upon the lore established, and has a satisfying design to it.

Great book
Came in a thin plastic sheet that did tear. Would not recommended ordering it with something else in the box since it'll scratch it with the corner.

Nice
It's very informative on the lore involving the Stormblood expansion. I found it interesting.

Gorgeous
Beautiful as always. Hat wasn't that great (would rather it be a minion) but the art is still amazing. A must have for any Warrior of Light.

Worth them price for collectors!
For anyone worried about time limits, the Matoyas hat code is still active for redemption. I was happy to see the book came sealed and with all official documentation. The art work alone is worth the purchase price, plus it includes a lot more lore than I first thought it would. Lore that isn't actually in the game.
