Good memory upgrade
I got this for a new Synology NAS unit (DS224+). It installed easily and worked immediately. Nice upgrade for the unit.

Works great
Installed in DS1821+. Using Synology Assistant, performed a memory test, which passed with no issues.

Works great in Synology DS920+
Though not officially supported, this 16gb module works great in my Synology DS920+. The speedup in performance, especially from my Docker apps, is really noticeable. For this price the upgrade is a total no-brainer and I should have done it sooner!

Works for DS220+
Bought this to upgrade the memory for my 3YO DS220+. I have noticed the bump in transferring speed and less noise. The installation is simple enough but make sure you push the SODIMM all the way in to the slot, I only got it right the second time.

Inexpensive, Easy Upgrade for Synology DS220+ NAS
This a very worthwhile upgrade for those Synology NAS which have the capability (such as the DS220+) to upgrade the built-in RAM. I must mention that although, in principle, this is very easy to install, you need to make an extra effort to be sure the module is fully seated in the NAS before snapping it into the "locked" position. Then be sure to check on the Info Center portion of your NAS Control Panel to see that the additional memory is showing up. Mine did not at first and after searching this issue on the internet, I discovered this is a common problem with ALL brands, not just the Timetec. There were tons of users who were wondering why the RAM they just installed was not showing up; some were ready to return the module as defective. In every case, after they went back and made sure to fully push the module firmly into the connector "seat" and then snap into place, it worked just fine. In some cases, users had to do this several times before they got it fully seated and then it showed up. Makes my NAS a lot snappier for data intensive tasks!
