HobbyZoneRC Airplane Apprentice S 2 1.2m RTF(Includes Controller, Transmitter, Battery and Charger) with Safe, HBZ31000, White

I've been in this hobby for many years and fly a wide variety, from jets to 3d to trainer planes. I love the challenge of an aerobatic plane and the thrill of a jet,,,, but on the flip side of things I also enjoy a quiet and relaxed flight that comes with a trainer. Of all the trainer planes I've piloted in the past this one by far and away exceeds any other plane in it's class. Super beginner friendly and a total pleasure for intermediate or even advanced pilots. I completely recommend this plane for all classes of pilots, especially beginners. I have one complaint only, I wish it would be available in more than just the one color, as it makes it a little more difficult to keep track of each pilot's respective plane when flying more than one simultaneously. Also wish the RTF kit would include a 2200 mah battery instead of the 1300 that is included in current kits. Otherwise its a great product for the money, love it!

The plane is easy to learn to fly even if this is your first plane. I highly recommend it!

I ordered for a birthday gift, it arrived quick.the battery/charger will not change. it stays white and does not blink like it should. I called the hobby store to which I was told to return it to amazon and re-buy. that it's rare that don't work.Ordered a 2nd one and the SAME THING happens!!! These are total junk and the the hobby store is of no help, why they even list the phone number to call them for support is beyond silly.they will not send out the right parts and instead just keep saying to keep returning. THIS BOX IS GIANT, and over $300 every time I have to re-buy and wait for refunds to come through! I would consider buying from an entirely different business and not this hobby store as they are selling junk here on amazon and they do not back the products or even try to help. I have a VERY disappointed birthday boy with now TWO planes that do not charge and over $600 spent!They SHOULD be sending out the correct parts to fix this instead of making us keep re-buying for the part and sending back.I'm all for supporting USA brands like this hobby store but with customer service like this we may as well save some money and just buy from the cheaper china companies, the quality is probably the same if not better.

It's is a great slow flyer. It behaves wonderful & I can breathe easy while flying. I take it to flying field every time to relax after flying fast planes & jets.

Good for first time beginners or experts

It is very easy to damage, I spent a lot of time repairing and buying parts for the plane but now I am better at flying it's a lot of fun.

I saw the one star review calling this a scam and saying that you have to buy additional items to fly this plane. Please understand that this is 110% inaccurate. That person did not do much research on this hobby because he bought the wrong version. He bought a BNF ( bind and fly) which is for people who already own an airplane and they want to use their own personal transmitter, batteries, and charger. What he was really looking for was the RTF ( ready to fly) version which comes complete with the plane, transmitter, battery and charger. I wouldn't spend much time writing this review but when he called it a scam it was just totally wrong. What happened is he did little to no research and just bought the cheaper version BNF. He really wanted the RTF version and I love this plane and it's definitely not a scam

This is a scam! Everything one needs to fly this plane is NOT included in the box! A separate transmitter is required. The instruction manual directs the owner to a website to purchase one. The prop included in the plane cannot be used with the float set—sold separately—which I did purchase. The instruction manual declares “do not use enclosed prop with optional float set.” There is no float set prop included in the float set either; and, one must search for the part on their website and purchase it separately.Just an awful experience!
