Abnormalities in design.
The item was delivered with a broken locking handle. Returned and received replacement.On usage, the lid sits loose and the locking handle fails to lock it firmly. So while straining, the lid slips and all your contents fall in the sink. This defeats the very purpose of this utensil. This review must be forwarded to Vinod who has a good name in the market. Maybe they should give a gasket and strengthen the locking handles.When one buys Vinod, quality is assured. This product must be taken of the shelf by Vinod and they must bring out a better time tested product worthy of their name

Cracked in 9 months. Warranty claimed and got a replacement
Update - After long interaction with the Customer Care this product has been replaced by the manufacturer. I have to incur the cost of sending the product to their office in Mumbai to check for warranty. Finally it’s accepted and replaced.Issue faced - Writing this review after 9 months. This cooker developed a crack after 6 months of use. Please see the pictures. Due to the crack the lid is not sitting correctly and it's useless. It's a waste of money. Reached out to Customer care for warranty claim (1 year warranty as per the information provided in the website). However company is not providing a replacement or a fix. They keep saying they will respond. No response and no solution. Very bad experience.

Started Cracking Within 2 Months – Poor Durability
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this utensil just two months ago, and despite only using it for regular cooking, it has already started to crack and break in a few places. I expected much better durability, especially for the price. The product looked sturdy in the listing, but the actual build quality is disappointing. Sadly, there’s no warranty or return option available now. Not worth the money quite disappointed.

Doesn't clamp shut
Perfect for the purpose of easy draining! Keep in mind that the clip has to be pressed down firmly and held in place manually by you throughout draining. It's not a clip in the sense that you clip it down and can let go of it. If you let go of the clip which holds the lid down, the contents will all fall into the sink😅. It's not an obstacle, just a point to keep in mind. Other than this, it's convenient to use and does the job!
