Boredom buster for dogs on medical confinement
My dog has been on strict crate rest for about 8 weeks so far leading up to and recovering from spinal surgery. Her corncob has been a valuable tool in staving off boredom. We use what we call Kong squeezy cheese spread into the “kernels” and while she works hard at getting all of the cheese out of the grooves, she’s never 100% successful. To clean it we soak it in hot soapy water for about half an hour and then use our faucet’s spray nozzle to dislodge any remaining bits.Keeping her stimulated and keeping her weight in check is a difficult balancing act, especially when she refuses to engage with non-edible toys. We use this corn cob sparingly, but I feel like the calories are worth it for the length of time that it keeps her occupied.

Very Durable
My 4 legged daughter is a Great Dane/Sheppard Mix and she loves her toys. Some of them too much and they are ruined very quickly. This one is still holding strong, and she plays with it all the time. This toy is very durable.

Only a larger dog will be able to squeeze it
Esco loved his corn cob. I put a little peanut butter on it and it occupied him for a good 40 minutes on day one. 4 stars not 5 only because he easily dislodged the rope. Also, he's a smallish dog (Cavachon) and while he's able to carry the cob he can't squeeze it to make it squeak. It's quite hard. The cob is indestructible.

He loves it
My dog loves it. In fact, we call him corn dog now. He sleeps with it, he plays with it, he holds it. This dog can literally tear up anything, so for the fact it’s still in tact Is a win. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CUTTING THE ROPE PIECE OUT!! It is a choking hazard for them. Doesn’t really squeak which is a nice plus. It’s very cute too, will definitely buy him more fruits and veggies in the future.

Very durable!
This is a winner! My dog wants to chew holes in every toy and always wants to chew out the squeaker. This toy is still hanging in there with NO missing pieces.

Look for the size before buy it
My dog just played with the rope; didn't pay attention to the corn toy> Also is too big for my dog's mouth (dachshund)

Didn't last long
I know no toy is truly indestructible. But I thought this would last longer than one evening. After about 20 minutes, I found big chunks of yellow where our 40 pound dog had chewed off part of the "corn". It's a cute toy. But I wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a you for a chewer.

corn toy
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a mostly good product and very good overall for a strong chewer. The tassel however is not needed and could potentially be a choking hazard for chewers
