Give it time to off gas when opening
Works great for homeschool purposes. I’m teaching my first grader basic geography and this meets our needs. It’s more fun than a boring globe. The only problem is it stinks like chemicals when you first inflate it. After a few days of off gassing it goes away.

Love it
Omg I love it! It’s a nice size for a toddler to start getting acquainted with geography. The print is very clear which is great. Just wish that for the U.S. it had the states labeled, not just major cities, but it’s not a big deal because I just want to introduce my almost 3 year old to continents, countries etc. The instructions inside the bag referenced a repair kit that was not included. I’m not mad though 🤷🏼♀️ Another thing I like is that it has longitude and latitude lines, Tropic of Cancer & Capricorn, oceans and compass star for cardinal directions … so a lot of concepts to talk to your little about! 🩷

Poor quality
I am so upset I bought this for my grandson for Easter and where you blow up the air it completely came apart now I don’t have anything for tomorrow. I’m so disappointed this product is not good now I have to try to get my refund.

Great to show the details up close
This is great to be able to let my students look up close without thinking they are going to drop my expensive globe.

looks rather like a peeled tangerine
My 4 years old son recently developed interest in maps and atlas. He likes pointing out where we live and also group special animals that live in a particular continent.I bought this globe so that he can understand the world is round not flat as he sees in the atlas and also sees the relative locations of continents at a global scale. He is a little young for free standing professional office globes that have all those axis and lighting stuff. Those globes are both very expensive and also would not stand well in the hands of a preschooler. This looked like a basic item that would do the job of giving some insight to a preschooler. However I am mostly disappointed with how the product actually is.What I liked about this item is that the countries and cities are labelled okay. Some reviewers complain about inaccuracies but I have not noticed a significant inaccuracy during my initial observation. The texts are readable and the colors are good. The other thing I liked is the option to be able to hang with the provided string. On the other hand, the globe looks nothing like a sphere at all. From my geography classes, I know that earth's shape is not an exact sphere but rather geoid which is fatter around equator. However the shape of this globe is way fatter than the actual earth. Besides, the segments are very obvious and their attachment areas are not well designed it looks more like a peeled tangerine with bulging slices all around. The latitude lines do not overlap between segments which is another defect in the design. Finally, the inflation probe is the worst I have ever seen. There is no back leak protection (normally beach balls and inflatable child floats have inflation probes which you push in air by pressing with your fingers and once you take of your hand the air can not escape back even if you don't close the top bit. This has no such function. It starts leaking as long as it is not capped and the cap is pretty loose that it can get uncapped very easily. We may need to tape it over of we decide to keep it.In conclusion, I can not say I liked this product, even though I did not have high expectations to start with.

a great classroom gift
My volunteer classroom does not have a globe or maps. Budgets are tight, BUT this inflatable globe was perfect. A great size. Easy to read. Kids love to learn about the many places we read about it. Also got some maps from Amazon. My class is ready!
