The XL size is perfect for our very large cat. I like the see-through plastic lid.
A great litter box for our very large cat. We have a 12-lb British Shorthair who doesn’t fit into regular size litter boxes. This is my third litter box by this company. I like to replace them after a couple of years from the wear-and-tear from the kitty claws and clumping litter.Because our cat is so large, he tends to “high pee”, so we need a tall box to keep everything contained and not escape the box. This litter box does that extremely well. I wipe down the inside of the lid and the sides of the box daily to keep it very clean. The box has a clear lid which our cat seems to like. It gives him a feeling of protection but also allows him to see anything around him while he’s using it. And I like it because I can easily see if he’s just used his box and I need to scoop things out.The box is easy to clean. I wash it out in the shower with a hand-held shower head sprayer and a bit of the blue dish soap.I highly recommend this litter box for anyone who has a large cat.

Best cat pan ever.
Keeps my male kitties from spraying my walls and floors. Great because I hate dark hoods. I would not want to use the toliet in the dark.Great size. Easy to clean. I wash thoroughly with Dawn and 1 tsp of bleach once a month.Best cat pan I have ever owned. Good for 2 cats. I own 3 of these pans for 4 cats.

The high back wall is great feature
Very nice cat litter box. This is the second one I purchased. Tue best feature of it is the high back side , so when my boy cat pees on the wall it stays inside instead of getting into the crack between the top and bottom of my old one. It’s easy to clean and it looks nice. The size is big enough for cats to move around.

MORE THAN JUST ASTHETICALLY PLEASING
I chose this litter box for a few reasons. I will also provide a few cons.My cat had an open litter box before and I thought a hood would help fight the smell and straying litter particles outside the box. I wanted a clear hood because i knew it would not be as drastic of a change compared to an opaque hood which makes the inside dark. Little D has always been very picky with her litter box so I knew I needed to make as smooth of a transition as possible.I also can tell if it needs cleaning without having to stick my head near the entry. Although the box top is translucent, it's also just foggy enough where guests won't easily see her waste compared to an open box. It is as easy to clean as any hooded box I've had in the past.Another reason I chose this is the size. Plenty of room for my little cat. The shape is easy enough to deal with, making placement for your box easy.I also purchased this item because of the COLOR! Most boxes are so ugly and your only hope is to canoflauge or tuck it away somewhere. With the different color options you can match to the room, blending it in very well. If my guests notice it, they actually ask about it because of the pleasant appearance. The top connects to the bottom via four clips, two on each side. I was happy with the two extra clips provided in case any broke. It is easy to disassemble. Here is what I would change about the box.The clearance of the opening where your cat steps in is a little high. This is important to consider if your cat has ever been finnicky about using the litter box. You don't want to give them a reason to not use it. I measured her previous box and was grateful to find measurements for this one on the Amazon page. Her old box had six inches of plastic she had to step over. This was already a little high, because Little D is a tiny cat. However this never thwarted her fron using her old box. The new box had a clearance of a little over seven inches. I could see this being a problem, but I couldn't find another box that fit what I wanted as well. I went to Hone Depot and had two wood blocks cut to the width of the litter box. They were about two inches thick and I used them as a step up in front of the entry for Little D to solve the clearance issue. I sanded them very well so my baby won't get splinters in her paws. I am considering covering them with litter mat. Pics provided.Another thing I would change about the box is the top is only a little difficult to get flush with the bottom. I suppose heat or manufacturing is to blame for this, but it's not too much of an issue. You just have to be sure the clips actually close the top to the bottom and you may have to play with it a little bit. Not a deal breaker.Additionally, the bottom of the opening for entry has a small lip on it that builds up an undesirable, but small amount of litter that easily falls onto the floor. Again, not a deal breaker. If you've been a cat owner long enough you've learned litter on the ground is unavoidable.Next, I think the litter box is a little expensive. There are others the sane size or bigger that are half the price. Essentially you are just paying for looks and the color options. The last thing I would change about this box is that it doesn't have a slot on the top for an odor filter. One of the reasons I changed boxes was I thought a hood would help with the smell. Not a deal breaker though. I was too overwhelmed by the positives of this box.In summary, I have just as many cons as pros, but the pros weigh so much more heavily. This is why I have this at 4 out of 5 starsPros:Hood helps with smell and straying litter particles on ground.Clear hood is good transition from open box.Clear enough to conveniently tell if cleaning is needed. Foggy enough to not be easily noticed by guests.Easy to clean and disassemble.Plenty of room and shaped well.MUCH MORE PKEASANT APPEARANCE THAN MOST BOXESCons:Clearance too high for small cats.Top may be warped and not easy to clip in with bottom.Lip at entry gathers litter.More expensive than similar boxes for what seems to be onky color options.Top does not have odor filter slot. The pros greatly outweigh the minor cons.

Maybe the perfect hooded cat box!
If you have cats that will use a covered litter box, I very highly recommend this one! We have eight cats of all sizes, and we have nine of these boxes. They are so nice and big, my finicky cats who prefer to 💩 in one part and 🥃 in another have enough space to do their business as they see fit. We generally put 30-40 pounds of clumping clay litter in each box, and because it’s so big and deep, the clumps stay near the top of the litter and it makes them so much easier to keep clean. No scraping the concrete off the bottom of the litter box, and the litter stays cleaner longer. We have two girls who were strays that we found when they were pretty young, like six weeks old. What we found out was that these two didn’t like the opaque hooded boxes. I’m guessing that they were accustomed to needing to be on the lookout for something that might get them while they were “vulnerable” going to the bathroom. My older cats were kind of jerks, they would “ambush” them by sitting on top of the box while they were in the box. They seem much happier now that they can see all around themselves without worrying about being jumped on when they stepped out. We decided to replace all of them with these, and all is well with the world! Yes, they are a little more expensive than most other boxes, but they are more than worth it. They have held up well, they are easy to clean, and when we do the monthly dump-and-clean-litter it really cleans up quickly. My cats say 32 paws up, way up! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Nice box
The media could not be loaded. My cat is big and has weird litter box habits, she has a tendency to kick out litter and rub her paws on the walls after she does her business. This box is big enough that she can fit and also helps keep the area around it clean because of the cover (litter not getting everywhere and can’t wipe her paws on the wall). It is sturdy, easy to move, and clean. Recommended.
