I’ve tried several creams for my baby’s diaper area, but this one has worked the best by far. My baby has very sensitive skin and this ointment has completely prevented rashes and irritation. This is a great product. I put it on my hands. It's the only thing that's ever worked to keep them from cracking in the dry winter months. I use it on my feet as well. I use it on my lips for chap stick to. This jar last almost a year for 2 adults. Sometimes I'll even put them on the pads of my dog's feet. If they're cracked, this is an excellent product. I've tried off brands. They never work. This is the only one that works. It's the real deal. An excellent value for your money too. It would be double that in the store. We had been using desitin on our newborn since birth but she still developed a nasty diaper rash with open sores. Switched to this after googling best product for diaper rash. Immediately noticed it creates a better barrier between skin and diaper and now her sores are nearly healed. We even put some behind her ears where they were crusting and it was better within one day. Yes, it has a unique smell, but it works so well you get over it.

This was recommended by my pediatrician for one of my children who is extremely prone to diaper rash for some reason.
