repair mechanisms
Needed to repair some chair mechanisms; making a hole larger to match the other side worked great.

Just ok
The tool works great but the files that come with it are terrible they are soft and loose texture with very little use

Don't expect much for quality.
Not much for what you pay for, super heavy cast frame, switch does not always work, I've had to cycle it on and off 4 times at the most to get it to turn on and engage. The first 1/4 inch of the tips broke off of all the pointed files that are encluded under low pressure on fiberglass. I would want to say it will get a job done but it's so heavy you'll put it down and switch back to hand files.

I love having this.
Another one I have not used, probably never will, but man! The amazing things I'm capable of making now that I have this in my garage. Or maybe my workshop. Or my car...it's somewhere. And I'll use it someday. I really did NEED it. And now I have it. I'm happy. For a minute. Until I see the next tool, and realize I need it too.

Heavy and weak, what's not to hate?
When I first got this I was impressed by the weight of it. I was sure I stumbled onto a treasure. Then I tried it out. I was so disappointed. Without touching anything the length of the stroke was about 3/8". When I put it to metal with just enough pressure to do some actual filing the stroke length went down to 1/8". This just isn't usable.

that little file can get it done, 2 hot rods and one saw

If weight matters, this thing should last forever! Palm sized and fast cutting. Made to go to work.
Great tool, well made, heavy construction, now I know I've needed for the last 40 years.....

Junk
Doesn’t start when you turn it on. You have to push start it. If you put even a little bit of pressure on it the stroke alignment pin becomes disengaged Would not recommend this brand to anyone
