Great size nice globe lovely light

The first impression wasn't favourable, as the meridian came out of the box looking like a piece of badly made plastic. In fact it is a metal die casting, a little crude but fairly inoffensive .Once assembled the globe looks fine and the image is clearly printed. But then I noticed the note in the South Atlantic informing me that sovereignty of the Falkland Islands is disputed by Argentina, and began to look for other parts of the world which have given rise to past conflicts. It seems the provision of such information is patchy and inconsistent. Perhaps the makers should confine themselves to cartography, and leave political hostages to fortune to the politicians.

The media could not be loaded. This item has arrived with parts missing and half of the globe broken at the joint.I hope this can be resolved as it was a present for my grandson yesterday. He is very disappointed that it can not be put together.

Looks lovely when lit night or day..

Really pleased with my Christmas present. The globe looks fantastic unlit and lit. Very easy to read.
