It works great! I was SOOOOO nervous to buy a fireplace online given that you can't return them - you can...it just costs you $100+ sooooo you really can't as it's not worth it. Anyways! I am here to say that after 2 months (not long I know) we are going strong. I use it every day. It's super quiet. I'm not a flashy gal - I like the most realistic settings so I keep it on there and really just turn it on and turn it off. I don't mess with the other features as I don't need them at this time. We also haven't used the heat feature as we are in FL but maybe in December when it's cooler.

Great product, very satisfied. Brother helped me hang it on studs. Does not necessarily be recessed into the wall. Lots of choices for flame color and remote works well to turn the heater/fan on for warmth. Slight noise when you do that, but it's more of a white noise and it's soothing.

Had the fireplace working fully for three days which was nice till the flame stop working. All I have been asking for over a week now is a replacement fire place under there one year (supposedly) warranty and I would send back the old one. So after a week all I have gotten was a $70 refund offer. I just want a working fireplace and if you are gonna honor your warranty and customers you should send a replacement unit of a full refund offer $179.99 or a new unit that works. Not try to scam your customers in accepting a crappy product with under a 1/3 refund when your product doesn’t work.

No thermostat or heat regulation other than a timer that you can set for it to go off but if you fall asleep without doing that, it will just keep running And if it’s in a small space things will get very hot. Otherwise it looks good. It’s relatively quiet. I really just wish it had a thermostat. Everything else is really cool. It’s very basic.Update: ended up having an issue with it, and customer service was more than acceptable.
