I use well water to water my garden and sometimes there is sediment in it which will stop up my spray nozzles, This has been a major time saver for me. This filter does a fine job of filtering debris that frequently clogs our sprinklers, especially soaker hoses. It attaches easily to the hose bib, unscrews to empty the chamber and clean the filter media. It pays for itself in less than a month.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this for my washing machine because our cold water keeps clogging up built in filter because of red clay or rust in our system. Once I installed it by connecting the female end to the back of the washing machine (which is male) And the water hose from wall(female) to the other side of the filter (male). At that point I notice a directional arrow pointing toward the water side not the washer. Meaning my flow is backwards. It may still filter this way but now I’ve got to see if I can unscrew the ends and switch them around. If so it will work. Just giving anyone a heads up that it is directional. Male side is output, female side is input. On the one I received anyway…

I got this for my garden to hook up to my drip system so my plants can get a little better water. I have a whale of water so

All OK except for the screens. You know, the part that matters the most.They are very flimsy. No reinforcing on the ends. Not flared at the ends to make it easier to attach. No mating protrusion at the base of the cover.When you remove the screen to clean it, it is very hard to get it to fit over the mating part in the housing. Then it gets deformed when you put the cover on and after that it is useless.I pump water for my garden from a creek, so the filters need cleaning more often than if you are using city or county supplied water.Very disappointed with this product.

Works great, especially in tandem to an RV drinking filter.

One of the filters was too long and did not allow a proper seal. Leaked water. I had to trim it a little shorter.

The filter is easy to install and is doing a good job. I especially like that it’s easy to unscrew and clean out. And with the clear tube you can see when it’s time to do that. My photo is a little deceiving; it makes it look like the filter is full of sand – it’s not. But the sand was definitely lining the walls. Great value for the money.
