Works great in imperfect mounting situations.
This is a great product that is easy to install and operate.I was concerned after reading several reviews that the alarm and sensor would need to be mounted very close to each other to achieve proper operation. After a bit of hand testing I found that gaps of one-half inch would keep the alarm from going off. In one of my installations the alarm unit and sensor are no even parallel to each other with no adverse affects to performance. Would like to upload some pictures of my install, but either Amazon or the seller seem to have this disabled. The unit is easy to use with the three position micro-switch; High, Off and Low. The only comment I would have is that because it is a micro-switch people with limited dexterity might find it difficult to use.I did not evaluate battery life because, frankly, I cannot imagine listening to this thing go off on high for anything more than a few seconds.

Quick & easy setup
I have one on my back and front door. There is a switch on the side to turn them off or adjust the volume. I keep mine on the lower setting when being used. We have a pool and young children so this provides extra security. Setup is quick and easy. Simply peal and stick. Mine have been up for 4 months and still work perfectly. They were recommended to me by someone who also has them.

Small but powerful
Great price for such a simple, but effective gadget! The first package we bought accidentally opened in the mail so it was missing a few pieces, but we were able to get a replacement right away, no problem. These mount easily on any door or window, are pretty discreet looking, and are easily turned on and off. Most importantly, they are LOUD! If you have them turned on and someone opens a window/door that they shouldn’t, you will know!Effective for home security and/or keeping tabs on children or other people you may be taking care of.

RV Shuttle Bus cab door alarms
These are working great so far as I’m using them on my renovated shuttle bus as service alarms. The louder option is what I’ll use at night to deter any intruders!

Great for home security for kids with special needs.
We bought this for my mother in law house because of my autistic son who tends to try and escape, we also have this at our house and it works great. My father in law was surprised at how loud it was and how easy it was to install and you can switch between volume if you want it low or high. It’s also a good source of security alarm for the home. It’s loud enough And the sound is annoying enough to hear it from the backyard which is really good.

Much prefer the old version - here's why
I am a fan of Noopel alarms - far superior to my previously purchased Sabres & GEs.Just purchased this "new" version and am returning to rebuy another set of the "old" version (black base). The new version Noopel has a third switch position for "low" - whereas the "old" version was a simple 2 position switch - up for on & down for off = no mistakes. The Sabres, GEs and other brands also have 3 position switches with "off" in the middle. Meaning you have to guess and check to see if you switched to "off" versus low. Since the switch is TINY and facing to the side where you can't see the switch position label - I found the 3 position style mistake prone. The new Noopel is different from my Sabres & GEs whereas they both employed a "chime" as 2nd alert setting while Noople has a high & low, The high remains great, it gets your attention far better than my Sabres or GEs. But the "low" setting is without value as being so low as to be nearly useless.Another fact to note if you are shopping - my old version Noopels gave me MUCH better battery life than Sabre or GE. Also Noopel only requires 3 LR44s rather than 4 with my others. Simpler because the LR44s are small, round, and hard to handle with guy hands often ending up rolling on the floor. Saves hassle. So I am rebuying the "old" version & sending back the "new". Either are better than Sabre or GE IMO.
