Betaine HCl with Pepsin - Highly dosed - 120 Tablets | Warnke Vitalstoffe - German Pharmacy Quality

I usually don't struggle with tablets but these are not so easy to swallow:They are compressed powder so there are three issues:1) If a dry bit touches your skin is sucks the moisture out and gets a bit stuck. This creates a slight anxiety over swallowing2) the shape is quite large3) they have a dust layer (not a noticeable layer - but keep reading). When you hold the tablet in your teeth or on your tongue before taking a swig of water you tend to breath in a little - this takes the dust and it hits the back of your throat - these are acid tablets - you notice it and cough!I've not noticed that on other compressed powder HCLs.These are strong - too strong for me if I use them on light meals - HOWEVER that might be what you need so no judgement in the star rating for that - I use a different brand that is weaker normally and use these for heavy protein meals only (taking care on swallowing!!)

I read the description wrong and believed it was 1950mg per tablet, however it is per 3 tablets! which is the same dose as most others, so not "highly dosed" as stated. Also the tablets are hard to swallow compared to others
