The ball on the old plate broke off. The old plate came off and the new plate went on.Highly recommend.

This tongue ball plate should work with most sway bar setups in the trailering world. I purchased this so that my Husky Sway Control and Weight Distribution Hitch with Sway Control could couple up with our new trailer - we left our old ball plate attached to our old trailer. Note that you will have to buy two plates if you use dual control like I do and you'll also have to buy the Self-Tapping Screws (or if you are really good, you could weld it on). Appears to be good quality steel and is powdercoated. You shouldn't be disappointed!

Only time will tell if this replacement part will last longer than the original part that came with the whole hitch assembly. The ball on the original ripped almost all the way out of the base plate.

Replacement for one that I broke on my travel trailer. Took way to hard of turn when backing up. Popped the ball off. Bought this and set to go again.

Made the mistake of leaving this on my RV when the insurance company totaled it, put this on my new RV, the only complaint is that it should have came with bolts, you have to buy those separate.

Smoking hot delivery. I damaged my original ball plate that came with camper installing my friction control bar the wrong way, on my travel trailer. This Camco ball plate fit perfect on existing holes. Would recommend to any one who needs this plate.. satisfied customer.. thanks.

I still had my sway bar from my previous RV and wanted to use it on my new one but forgot to remove this mount from my old camper before selling it. This was nice to find I didn't have to buy the whole kit again just to get one part.
