I loved having the scoop. I almost ordered one before I checked.My 14 year old terrier had no problem adjusting to this mixed with dog food, sugar free yogurt, peanut butter, or sugar free applesauce. I've even sprinkled it on top of steamed broccoli that we add to his dry food.It seemed like it helped his breathing immediately! He has some minor heart issues and this has the recommended ingredients.The price may seem high for such a small bottle but when you do the math to determine the servings it's quite reasonable. It lasted us about 2 1/2 months or 10 weeks. Definitely worth it since it gives him more energy, helps him breathe easier, caused no digestive problems, and hopefully prolongs his life while improving his quality of life.There are 1 or 2 similar cardio supplements I want to try before we make a final decision on what seems to work best. May take the bottles to his veterinarian for their input, too, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well he took this and the immediate improvement to his coughing and breathing issues.

Standard process is an excellent brand. I like to use this as a nice smelling topper for my dog food. He is nearly 17. It really helps his heart health and he seems to enjoy it. I definitely recommend this brand for any supplements if you want your dog to live longer, you can address Regular health issues that are associated with canine aging and have way less negative side effects if you start these when they are young. I started supplements on all of my dogs. By the time they were five and started the heart supplements by age 10, as recommended by a cardiologist.

I do notice after giving it to my pomchi for abut 2 weeks he seemed to have more energy. I mix it in to his moist food in the morning and he doesn’t seem to notice which is wonderful because he has turned up his nose at a few others we have tried to have him take. His heart issue has pretty much stabilized for now and feel this may be part of the reason.

My dog Chui has been on Standard Process Canine Cardio Support for a while now. He is a chihuahua and is prone to heart and hip conditions. He use to have a murmur but from putting him on Canine Cardic Support the murmur is gone the vet said. I’m going to keep him on it for the rest of his life. He’s 19 years old now and means the world to me! And it’s so easy to add to his food and he eats it all up! (He is a very picky eater so glad he likes the taste!)

Wish I had found this years ago, but know it gave me a few extra months with our 17 year old ChiPom.
