Very disappointing.. just received this kit and buttons are 3 pin and the board is 2 pin. So much for quality control I guess.

I got 10 identical buttons not 8 and the 2 smaller ones.. The buttons all appear to work without having to do much and easy to plug together. I wish I could get like 2 of another color or two white ones and not have to buy another $20 package for 2 buttons

For what you pay for, this is a steal. If you just want a simple arcade stick that works, this is what you need to start. I got the new style and everything was packaged perfectly and worked as it should. I DEFINITELY recommend this if you're building a simple cheap arcade stick or home arcadr.

good starter kit, buttons have that empty feeling when pressed and the joysitcks have a bit of slack in them. I will be replacing the buttons with Happ style and the joysticks with real Sanwa soon.

What I received was NOT what was pictured...It was actually better! The Wires were simplified with a one ribbon plug in only per button. Much easier to hook up than the illustrations implied!

Great arcade kit! Stick feels nice. Buttons could use more firmness but for the price they are great

Other reviews about the cables not matching the board are right. You can't hook up the buttons to the board because the cables you get are 3 pin, and the board only accepts 2 pin.Side note, these are fairly small buttons, and if you want standard size arcade buttons these will run a little small.

Very easy to set up. Basic plug and play setup. You do need to be prepared to drill the right sized holes 1/2in. And 3/4 in. If I'm not mistaken. It's held up very well to punishment.
