The alarm clock that I love to hate!
I first got clocky soon after it came out--was it 15 years ago? (I'm not sure, I probably hit snooze on a traditional clock.) I despise having to chase after the stupid thing, but it gets me out of bed. Reliably. In a way that having to walk across the room to turn of a traditional alarm never could, because I set the Clocky snooze to 2 minutes and have to chase it. By the time I catch it I'm awake. I just bought my 3rd one because that impact with the floor takes a toll after about 4 years. (I looked it up. I bought the last one 4 years and 3 months ago. In my mind, $40 every 4 years for reliably getting up on time is a very small price to pay.)

Clocky is the best alarm clock ever invented
Whoever invented Clocky is a genius! It’s difficult for me to get out of bed in the mornings, but Clocky actually gets me up. He doesn’t get too far, but to turn him off I literally need to get up from bed and pick him up then shut off the alarm. Just don’t put a fluffy rug in front of him or else he’ll get cornered behind the rug and in front of the wall. Then you can “cheat” to pick him up and turn him off, which defeats the purpose of buying Clocky.PS My 5yo daughter loves him! Now she wants one of her own. lol

Cutest friend
I love him. I think it’s a great idea. My two improvements would be louder and faster. Hopefully in the future a motion sensor to run away from me so I have slight trouble catching him.

Effective and cute
I adore Clocky! Very good at getting me out of bed for those wretched early morning meetings. Alarm is not very loud and has no volume adjustment, but it is odd and annoying like white noise so there is no way to sleep through it. Even when chasing Clocky around to shut it off, I can't get mad at him because he's just too cute. He also fascinates both my dog and cats. I wish I could activate the wheels without the alarm as Clocky has great potential as a pet toy.

If you want a clock that will roll off the table, this is for you -- otherwise look elsewhere
I share a bed with a deep sleeper; the alarms on an iPhone or an Alexa, or even most bedside clocks are useless. I got this hoping that a loud AF clock that rolls off the table and then proceeds to roam the room would be the thing that would finally get him moving. He set the time on the clock, then set an alarm for a few minutes away to see how it would work. The alarm went off as expected, but the volume was very lacking. We decided to try it the next morning -- maybe it would seem louder in the morning than midday. The next morning, the alarm went off *around* 8:40 am (more on this to come) and sounded like a kids' toy robot -- and not loud. It *did* roll off the bedside table, eliciting a response from the two dogs that amounted to "What was that?" but then they both went right back to sleep. Clocky proceeded to roll maybe a foot, and then just sounded its diminutive alarm. Shock -- nobody woke up to the alarm. When I did get up, I found Clocky right under the edge of the bed when I noticed the time said something like 11:05... but the alarm had gone off when it was set to; not sure what's up with that.At 9:45 am today, the time on Clocky said 1:05. So yeah, all done here with this one. There must be better options in an alarm clock -- one that alarms loudly enough to wake you up and clocks well enough to keep time.

No volume control, too loud for migraineur
I was hoping there would be an option to adjust the alarm volume, I am easily prone to migraines and it reaches a high frequency pitch and very loud volume that are physically painful and a risk to cause a migraine, especially on a bad morning if I'm dealing with other migraine triggers. Not everyone's "loudest" volume is the same, and I would like a product to trust its customers to see to their own needs--I'm buying it because I want it to annoy me, so if I had set the volume too low and it didn't wake me, that would be on me. However, I'm buying it to annoy me, not to hurt me.Also, the snooze button didn't really work, i stabbed it as hard as possible and it just kept screaming so I had to use the alarm on/off button. I may have just gotten a defective unit though. The written instructions could do with a bit better labeling on the diagram, for instance the button which is physically marked on the device with an "A" is helpfully labeled on the instructions as just... "A". It would make setup faster if it labeled it as "alarm", similarly for the "T", "H", "M", and most importantly it would have been helpful to have the image icon buttons labeled with what they are. The little tiny embossed bell icon and the circle icon are not immediately intuitive as to what they are, but they're referred to by name in the written instructions as the "alarm" button and the "wheels" button. Not life-breakingly difficult, but if the manufacturer wants to optimize their instruction manual, these are my suggestions. If you have vision problems, the button letters/icons are very tiny and are simply embossed, they are not marked in ink, so that may or may not be a dealbreaker for you.Ideally it would be helpful if the backlight could be tapped to light up, I think tapping the snooze button may do that though. As with all modern electronics, the LED backlight is a bright blue, so it's good for waking you up but not great if you just want to check the time during the night--again, maybe not a dealbreaker for you. I know it would increase the cost of production to add an RGB adjustment function, that would be cool to have though. I am very pleased that the display numbers themselves are just LCD with a backlight rather than always-on LED numbers, that's not common to find and is a preference for me.The battery compartment lid is very fiddly and it makes it annoying to change the batteries, it would be much easier to use if it had a click-in-place latch that you can then screw closed rather than just a screw closure. The wheels have a rubberized coating, and it does indeed zoom around chaotically very well. It's well weighted to right itself and keep the display upright.

Slightly Loud. Will wake you up. Can be a little annoying.
This clock is well-made, and definitely helps me get up in the morning. It is not a normal alarm clock, as it rolls around and jumps off things and makes weird sounds to wake you up. All Alarm clocks can do is wake you up. You do have to have the will to get up after that. But I highly recommend, if you are a heavy sleeper or if you just can't get up in the morning. Especially the early morning.Thank you very much,B.W.

Its a good product
Now for the wheels to run you have to check if the icon is turn on, they only start running if you push thesnooze button for more time. Basically on the second alarm that goes off because of the snooze they will start operating. You also have to remember to turn the alarm every day by pressing the alarm button. The manual can be a little bit confusing but there is a website that gives a simplify version of the manual.I follow that and the manual from the official website as well.

My teenaged nephew hates me
I bought this for my teenaged nephew as a gag gift and because he has trouble waking up. He hates me because it forces him out of bed to turn it off and once it's done, he doesn't go back to bed. His parents love me because it forces my nephew to get out of bed and be ready on time. Plus, it's cute

100 % recomendable
